Definition: a leadership approach that causes change
in individuals and social systems. In its ideal form, it
creates valuable and positive change in the followers
with the end goal of developing followers into leaders
(anonymous, n.d.).

5. Application- Higher
Education
Relational leadership and transformational
leadership can be used when developing student
leaders in on a college campus. As a advisor,
transformational leadership is important to take
followers, or aspiring leaders, and transform
them into independent leaders on campus.
