  • It is certainly an interesting direction for schools which using similar content. Having an all education system leader could improve consistancy and make evaluation easier. However because the core of the approach is moral purpose, it make it harder to implement this model outside of school circles with similar moral fundation (eg: political view, culture and religious value). I still like the part where suggests local school could act as a community leader and work as a change agent, especially for universities and higher education.

  • I liked your Zorrow analogy! Our group found our discussion questions challenging....in a good way. This presentation has reminded me how powerful moral purpose is.

  • For me putting the Moral Purpose as a core makes the model very unstable and is not suitable for the long term use. Since morals are subjctive and very vulnerable to other external inflpnces such politics.

  • A challenging model that poses more questions than it solves! Our group's reflection on the possibility of a whole system agreeing on a single moral purpose was interesting. It is so difficult to make significant and sustainable change on an organisational level, so it can be daunting to extend this to the systemic level!

  • This is a good presentation. In my opinion, a system leader is someone who are willing to run and change the system. I also considered a system leader as someone who has good relationship inside the organisation amongst the staff (related to sharing and communication is holding increased weight and value).
