1. 9
As the shot fades and the teachers voice fades out we will see Charlie in the
reflection of the mirrors, we will hear her thoughts criticising herself as she
works. The shot will pan left.

2. 10
The camera will continue to pan left showing the room empty.
Diegetic sound only. Camera is pivoted.
3. 11
As the shot rests on Charlie it will blur slightly which will match up with
her thoughts as she says “oh come on, concentrate!”.

4. 12
The shot zooms out to show that a figure has appeared (the apparition),
as she begins to speak a motif will begin to play in the background.
Camera is fixed.
5. 13
The camera to face the apparition with Charlie’s head in the left of shot. The
apparitions face will dominate the shot magnifying the emotion in her face,
drawing the audience in on the dialogue.
The camera is still. The motif will slowly finish and fade out.
6. 14
The camera will switch to over the apparitions shoulder facing Charlie who will
appear smaller in frame than the apparition in the previous shot, this will
make her appear smaller and therefore weaker in the conversation.
The camera is still.
7. 15
The shot will cut to face the mirrored wardrobes showing the whole room in the reflection.
The apparition will get up and walk towards the mirror and finish with her back to the
camera, we will see her actions in the reflection and Charlie in the right of the shot. At the
end of the shot the apparition will turn to face Charlie and the motif will play again.
The camera is still (it may pan left when the apparition turns around to keep her in shot).
8. 13
The shot will cut to face Charlie to see her reaction to the apparition, the
music will slowly build in the background.
