1. • Dredging and Reclamation works for Onne port.
• Construction of 2,000m jetty berth 12 to 19
• Inner channel & turn basin at Onne port
• Water distribution system for berth 9-11 at FOT
• Road development & Tower light system for new roads
DREDGING AND RECLAMATION WORKS FOR ONNE PORT -
CENTRAL SECTION AT FEDERAL OCEAN TERMINAL
The inland section will be in excess of 600 Ha (6 million square metres) and includes
57.85 Ha (1625m x500m x 312m) of removal of unsuitable materials for the
construction of the new channel in the future development area.
CONSTRUCTION OF 2,000 M JETTY BERTHS 12 TO 19 -
FEDERAL OCEAN TERMINAL
The project has been conceived as an extension of Berth 9, 10 & 11 jetty, using similar
designs and construction techniques. 8 Nos. of additional berths of approximately 250
metres each will be located along Bonny River. Berth 12 to Berth 15 will be located
before the inner channel while the remaining Berth 16 to Berth 19 will be located after
the channel (312 m width) along Bonny River.
The jetty will have 12 metre draft Chart Datum (lowest astronomical tide) and the berths
will have the normal capacity of 6T/m2, with 3 Nos. of Heavy Load Platforms (HLP)
having a capacity of 12T/m2 including a 50T/m2 for Super Heavy Load Platform (SLHP)
INNER CHANNEL & TURN BASIN AT
ONNE PORT
The new reclamation for future development of
the central section at FOT, will necessitate the
protection of the sand filled areas for an
approximately length of 3,713 metres for 8
meter draft CD, for the construction of the new
channel (1625m x 500m / 312m) in the future
development area.
ROAD DEVELOPMENT & TOWER
LIGHT SYSTEM FOR NEW ROADS
The basic design with recommended
technical specifications for the development
of roads with a total length of 15,493 meters
divided 2 track roads.
The scope of work comprises of a high mast
lighting system to improve illumination and
enhance security along the access and other
internal roads at the new developed area of
Federal Ocean Terminal (FOT), for easing
and facilitating operations within the area
WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
FOR BERTH (6,000M3) AT FOT
The proposal is based on the total daily
requirement of 6,000 m3 of industrial water
(i.e. 600m3/H per 10H/day) for vessel water
supply, to be delivered through No. 12
hydrants with flow rate of 50m3/H each.
Onne Oil and Gas Free Zone is becoming a catalyst for investment
creating synergies between different investors: Deep Offshore Services
is the concessionaire investing in the new development better known
technically as Phase 4B, with under listed Projects.
