Beaconhouse School System, Senior Girls Branch. Satellite Town. The pupils of class VII conducted an English Language Workshop, regarding the four basic skills in English. They carried out a research work on their particular skill and integrated it with ICT through making useful, meaningful and interesting presentation on PowerPoint slides.

thought and feelings in a spoken language,
it includes a person purpose of speaking
and his inner emotions. It is a process of
constructing meaning by combining a
group of words to share one’s views. It is
often spontaneous, open-ended and
evolving.

6. How to make speaking effective!!
Good morning,
We can make our speaking effective if we make a conscious
effort to do the following:
1) Channel our nervousness :
You’ve probably heard of that survey, Right?
The one that said most people fear public speaking more
than they fear dying .The trick is to avoid that
nervousness paralyze us . Rather channel it
productively, allowing it to energize you and your
speech.

The best way to control that nervousness is to
know the material to our best .All the other
tips are useless in the world if you are
unfamiliar with the material you are presenting
.The more we know and care about our
material , the more effective our speech will
be.

 One winter night, it was raining cats and dogs.A
woman was driving home from her office. Suddenly
a dog came in front of the car and CRASH!!! An
accident.The woman came rushing towards her
house, she ran upstairs and closed the door behind
her. She started crying bitterly. No one knows what
happened to the woman.THE MYSTERY REMAINS
UNSOLVED.

12.  English learners may find speaking the hardest
part of learning to improve speaking children
should do role play to boost their confidence.The
tone of your voice effects the delivery and impact
of your message . If you are tense or nervous, by
preparation and proper mind set , you will be
able to speak clearly . Not everyone is born to
speak effectively , some are so loud while some
are so quiet .

15. Importance of Speaking?
 There are no good and common reasons for
keeping quiet and prevailing silence while
studying or learning. Speaking a loud is self –
dependent in children . It helps one to ensure
being confident and trusting upon themselves .
Speaking while learning keep the ideas for a long
period of time in ones mind . It not only helps in
developing our skills of learning but also takes to
the PEAK OFTHEWORLD.
