We all like to feed our egos. With our successes, achievements, possessions,
holidays, new jobs, our company, or even our kids/family. Success pumps us up.
But we are much less prepared to deal with failure or lag behind others.
Make no mistake, sooner or later, you will fail at something.
You will feel ashamed, embarrass yourself, and feel that you have let down others
and yourself. To lose your job, get a divorce, sell your dream house, fail a
promotion, or get caught on a downward spiral.
The reality is, there´s no shame in that. There´s no shame in doing your best.
There´s no shame in exploring possibilities, even if you fail sometimes.
Shame would be not to dare, not try, and not to chase your dreams.
Don’t let your ego become your enemy. You are not your possessions, degree, job
title, external labels that can change or you can lose any time.
You are who/what’s inside of you; And that, no one can take away from you.
