With social etiquette telling you to "be positive," one may feel awkward having
negative feelings, as if something is wrong with us.
But rejecting or refusing negative feelings is counterproductive and not healthy.
Negative feelings are part of our guiding system and often point out a conflict
between your reasoning and our emotions.
Normally they are triggered by unreasonable expectations, regrets, or anxiety.
It means, "unsolved business" with our heart and mind.
Rejecting, pushing them back, or forcing ourselves to become "positive" suddenly,
won't work; it only creates unrest.
Dissect those feelings. Have an inner talk, and face your demons. What we feel at
the surface is not the root cause but the effect of something else, which resides
deeper. Facing the source of the unrest is a significant step toward getting back in
balance.
