it is running the most up to date

2. Click on the right of the Windows logo on bottom
right of your desktop and search for “Command
Prompt”:

3. Open Command Prompt:

4. Change to the NetSecVagrant directory by
executing: ‘cd NetSecVagrant’

5. Execute ‘vagrant up’ to turn our box on. This
output should appear:

6. Log onto the box by executing ‘vagrant ssh’:

7. Once logged on change your directory to
‘/etc/slackpkg/’ by executing: ‘cd /etc/slackpkg’

8. Edit the ‘mirrors’ file by executing ‘sudo vim
mirrors’

9. Once the text editor has opened, uncomment this link :
http://mirrors.us.kernel.org/slackware/slackware-current/
• To uncomment : press ‘I’ to initate insert mode, then delete the ‘#’
• Once edited, type in ‘:wq’ to save and quit.

10. Execute ‘sudo /usr/sbin/slackpkg update’ to
update the slackware box

11. You have successfully updated the Slackware box!
