1. 05: How do I run the
crawford slackware box?

2. Click on the right of the Windows logo on bottom
right of your desktop and search for “Command
Prompt”:

3. Open Command Prompt:

4. Make a new folder named: ‘NetSecVagrant’ by
executing the following command : ‘mkdir
NetSecVagrant’

5. Change to the NetSecVagrant directory by
executing: ‘cd NetSecVagrant’

6. Execute the following command to initialize a
vagrant Crawford/Slackware box: ‘vagrant init
crawford/slackware-14.2’ You should see the
following output:

7. Execute: ‘vagrant up’ to “Turn on” our new
box. We should see the following output:

8. Output Continued:

9. Now that our box is turned on, we can log
into it by executing ‘vagrant ssh’:

10. To log out execute the command ‘logout’
within the vagrant box:
