1. 32: How do I update
slackware?

2. Open Terminal

3. Execute ‘cd /etc/slackpkg’.

4. We want to edit the file ‘mirrors’. To do this we want to
use the text editor vim. Type in the command ‘sudo vim
mirrors’ type in your password

5. While in the text file we want to locate the mirror that is
commented out for US users. Choose the following mirror :
‘ http://mirrors.us.kernel.org/slackware/slackware-current/ ‘

6. Once that is completed we can now update Slackware
packages. Execute the following command: ‘sudo
/usr/sbin/slackpkg update’

7. Completed!
