Working Title:
The Virus…
Audience:
My audience is for males and females from the age of 12+. I feel like with the situation of the film
have more knowledge of illness or diseases means that the film won’t make younger children have
nightmares about a killer virus that some evil Doctor is going to release and it also means they
wouldn’t be worried that going to the Doctors for a normal check-up. For me the film is for any
social group because I’m not making it so everything is about money I want it be more about the
power of good overcoming evil and saving everyone not just saving the rich or the poor. I feel like
many people would enjoy the film because of how it relates to possible experiences for
grandparents, parents and even people who are living through current events.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
So far this year I have learnt a lot of new skills mainly because at Manor I did subjects that never
required a laptop or Mac. So using Photoshop, premiere pro, pixel art. I have loved getting used to
new things because it allows me to gain new knowledge and then apply it to your daily life and also
in other pieces of work in the future.
I feel like the music video work really helped me get an idea for using the events of 2020 and have
a similar event just 33 years in the future and a new way of stopping it. I also feel just been back in
education has helped me because it means I’m not sat around doing nothing and by having work
I’m allowing my brain to develop and work hard.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
What is the concept for your project and what are you going to make?
The concept for my project is to make a solid film idea into a game, poster, and magazine, make a
good company with a logo. I’m going to use the events of 2020 to allow myself to use personal
thoughts and dreams of been the person to stop a worldwide virus and use that to create these
characters who are going to stop a virus that is going to destroy the world. I’m going to do
everything possible to make everything I do the best possible.
What research will you need to conduct and how will it help you make your project/
I want to research some new foods, drinks and plants so I can learn about new things that I can
put into my story as the ingredients needed to make this super cure for the virus. This will help my
project by giving me new knowledge meaning for different parts of the production I can easily
make key decisions on how things should look or how things will run and so on.
Production Techniques (approx. 150 words)
What specialist techniques do you need to consider? (e.g. green screen, Steadicam, post-
production, sound, etc.)
For the trailer I will most definitely have to look into a green screen for the images of China,
Australia, Canada, Paris, Rio and New York for obvious reasons I can’t get to these locations but
for New York and Rio I could use old photos from holidays to the respective places
Does this require any specialist equipment/training/demos?
For using green screen I would have to definitely have to look into how to use a green screen just
so I’m prepared for using it and it means I use it correctly and it creates the best possible results
that I know are good enough to see as part of my production for the film.

Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
I plan to use peer feedback to aid me in evaluating my work, having peer feedback can sometime
provide issues if you don’t like people giving their true opinion but despite the negative comments
it can definitely help because sometimes harsh words are a fast track to success.
