Editor's Notes

  1. Although the first known heliocentric theory was presented by Aristarchus of Samos, it was only after Copernicus developed his mathematical and astronomical model, that the geocentric model was formally challenged. Following studies and discoveries by Kepler, Galileo and Newton further proved the Copernican model, igniting the Scientific Revolution. It took more than 270 years of debates for the Catholic Church to formally approve publication of heliocentric books.
  2. The internet and globalization are two forces accelerating this shift.
  3. Clarity : Energize (communicate the vision with Passion and inspire others) , Prioritize (Focus on team and make tradeoffs with customer in Mind), Connect (build cross-functional alignment around F5’s strategic imperatives).
