of our film?
• Most people commented on how the final
version looked more polished than the rough cut.
They claim despite the changes the story

3. How have we improved from our
previous version?
• The final cut improved on the transitions. This
helped the viewers concentrate on the scene and
help the film look more professional.
• We also changed the order of the scenes to
improve the continuity. This made the story run
smoothly which help the viewers stay focus.
• Also we improved the sound by putting in more
appropriate places and making it sound more
clear.
4. Can you see the progression from our
preliminary task to our final film?
• We used different styles of shot in our final
film. We gained experience from the
preliminary and became more confident and
ambitious with the different style of shots we
used. Many people commented on the wide
variety of shot we used compared to the
preliminary.
5. Does our film fit into the codes and
conventions of a crime thriller film?
• One convention that people said that our film fit
into was the style of suspense we created. They
commented on how our main character was
being followed by a unknown character
combined with the soundtrack created an intense
atmosphere.
• The second convention was the gun. In most
crime film they looked at serious crime. The gun
represents the serious of the crime that going to
be committed.
