FULL NIGHT — 9999894380 Call Girls In New Ashok Nagar | Delhi
Evaluation 6
1.
2. 0 From this whole experience I have learnt many things such as: the audience
opinion on the film is the top priority, lighting is a main factor of filming and
continuity is vital. In pre-production one of our initial responses to filming was
that we need to film in similar times during the day as our scenes had windows
nearby letting in natural light. By keeping the light very similar the continuity
stays at a great level and also our audience will be focusing on the storyline
rather than being distracted due to the different lighting.
3. 0 Secondly, before making our film we wanted to find out how the audience would
react to our film so therefore we made a questionnaire for people to answer. This
was vital for our pre-production as we needed to know how much violence to
include in our film (depending on the age rating given by audience) and if many
people watched post-apocalyptic films in their spare time to decide whether our
film would be independent or mainstream. So from our results we gathered we
found that post-apocalyptic films have a niche audience and that the majority of
people would have rated our film a 15. Therefore we now know who we were
targeting our film towards and what age group we needed to attract. These
decisions were made in pre-production so we could adjust our film to our target
audience through: cinematography, editing, mise-en-scene and sound.
4. 0 Additionally, in our pre-production we found similar films to ours to gain
motivation and also some interesting ideas. For this we used imdb to look up the
description to other post-apocalyptic films such as 28 Days Later and Invasion of
the body snatchers, and we watched the first 15 minutes on each DVD for some
innovative ideas. As well as this I decided to look at the title sequence of Se7en on
artofthetitle.com to look at similar title sequences to our films genre. This was
successful for our title sequence especially because on our DNA-Pocalypse film
we decided to cut from footage to titles at the beginning of our film like they do in
Se7en.
5. 0 Finally, we decided to make our film the best it can be, we needed to practice
writing scripts so we could plan out what dialogue belongs to the right
person and how our scenes would be set out. As a group we practiced this
script writing in CeltX and each of our group made up a storyline for their
own film so we were all used to scriptwriting for our final film (DNA-
Pocalypse).
0 Something that turned out to be less successful was re-creating similar
mutations to the ones in DNA-Pocalypse as the make up for these mutations
would turn out to be too hard to achieve so therefore we made our
mutations conspicuous and hiding in the shadows.
0 From all of these technologies I have used, I have found that sites such as art
of the title and imdb, really give you an insight to how similar films to your
own are represented and how they successfully attract their target audience.
