FDR's New Deal accomplished three main things: 1. It restored confidence to the American public through programs like the FDIC, Social Security, and the AAA which protected bank deposits, provided retirement benefits, and helped farmers. 2. It provided emergency relief programs to help the unemployed through agencies like the FERA, WPA, and CCC which gave money directly to states, and jobs to millions of workers in public works projects and the conservation of natural resources. 3. It aimed to reform the financial system and regulate Wall Street through new agencies like the SEC to oversee the stock market and prevent another crash.
