What you must consider …
Online activity can be seen by more people than you realise.
You DO NOT control your online ‘footprint’.
Your friends may not always be your friends.
Anyone can find out what you did last summer!
Employers are checking you out online BEFORE they ask you for an Interview!

What can I do?
Look closely at your Privacy settings on EACH network website.
Read the T&Cs before you sign up to any website!
Consider having a separate profile on the networks for private and professional activities.

What else can I do?
Don’t be silly; don’t write anything that will come back and haunt you in 2, 5, 10 years time!
If in doubt, don’t do it!

Think before you speak.
