Who Are The Target Audience?
• Age: • Although no age is particularly specified to the film, we believe that it would
be unsuitable for anyone under 15 to view the finished product. However, we believe
the majority of our audience would be between 15-20 years of age, as our main
character is around sixteen years of age, so they may relate to him on a larger scale.
Also, people around that age are more likely to have younger siblings around the
same age.
Gender:
• Although the film is not particularly targeted at either males or females, females may
be more inclined to watch the film the actor is a male. This means that women are
more likely to relate and empathise with the characters.
Habits/Lifestyle
• As our film is more likely to attract young adults, we are expecting that many of our
viewers will be students. They are more likely to go to the cinema to see the film, as
cinema prices are usually discounted for students. Our audience are more likely to be
specifically into the horror genre, and will be expecting to be scared/frightened by
our film.
Ethnicity •
People of many different races and backgrounds will be targeted to watch our film.
However, we feel our film may attract a largely white/British audience as all of the
characters in our film are of this Ethnicity.
