Setting The setting seems to be first in some woodland area; because of the sound of birds
flying away indicates that. Later on there is a voice of a woman reporting a body in
the street, so it must have transitioned into some sort of town/ city? Murdered:
Soul Suspect is an action-adventure stealth video game developed by Airtight
Games and published by Square Enix for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3,
PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. In Salem, Massachusetts, Detective Ronan
O'Connor is thrown out of a window while pursuing the brutal and relentless serial-
killer, the Bell Killer, who finishes Ronan off by shooting him. Revived as a ghost,
Ronan meets the spirit of his long-dead wife Julia, who informs him that he cannot
join her until he completes the unfinished business binding him to the living world.
There are multiple sounds triggered in this trailer.
The first of which are the crying and screaming of
a woman. Which could of easily been created by
hiring a voice actor to record the ‘’struggle’’ in a
recording studio. Also the bird and gunshot
effects could have also been easily created by
recording the sounds. The gunshot effects were
most likely taken from an online source then
enhanced in their own game engine using the
sound engine within it.
Mood It seems like it’s a very hororish game by the sounds of the trailer. It starts of with
what we the listeners can hear, is that there’s a woman heavily breathing and
running from something we are not sure is. Then she starts screaming and crying
with the bird effects of them flying away activate. His indicates that whatever she
was being chased from has probably caught her and killed her. Throughout the
trailer there is another woman who is on the phone line to the police, crying for help
explaining what just happened in the streets of Salem. The sounds of gunshots and
glass breaking then come next; this indicates and shows the possible crime that was
committed by this killer.
The mood is very grim, the sounds of these effects
of the voices etc, were recorded in a audio
production room. Or a recording room, using a
high quality condenser microphone.

the incident.
