This tutorial provides instructions for using the Monithon civic monitoring platform: - Monithon allows citizens to monitor and report on public projects in Italy. Users can view existing reports on a map and register an organizational team account with an email and password. - To submit a new report, users draft sections including a desk analysis of available documents and an evaluation of planned field research. They can upload supporting documents, photos, and other materials. - Reports are saved as drafts and submitted for editorial review. Editors may publish the report or request changes. Reports should be submitted at least 3 days before any related deadlines. The report URL is then added to the submitting team's page on another site.

12. Provide in the registration form:
Email = official team email
Username = team name
Password = choose a password and confirm

13. Wait a few minutes then check your mail box
and your SPAM folder
Confirm account activation by clicking
the link in the email

14. LOG IN
Username: team email
Password: your chosen password

15. In the menu on the right, click on Change profile and enter the
details

16. COMPILING THE
MONITORING REPORT

upper left menu
2. DRAFT A NEW REPORT

18. 1. Immediately you will see the MoniTutor guide with specific
civic monitoring tips for your project
2. Paste the link of the chosen project and click on the Search
icon.
3. Then draft all parts of the report, as you proceed with the
investigation

At the bottom of the screen for filling out STEP 2, you will find this field:

22. You can save the report at any time and
recover it later by clicking in the upper right
menu:

When you’re ready to send, save the report
by checking the box
The Report is ready to be reviewed by the
editors
After a few days, the Monithon editors will publish the report or
ask you for some changes.
It should be sent at least 3 days before the official delivery
deadline for the lesson 3 report

23. After having completed the Monithon report
you have to enter the URL in the field for the Lesson 3 Report
of your Team page on the ASOC site
