electronic devices. Typical electrochemical
batteries convert chemical energy into
electrical energy.
Batteries are classified into two types based on
charging ability. They are

 2.Secondary cells
 Secondary cells are widely used because of

Nalamasu ” developed the paper battery.

4. Paper batteries= Paper + Carbon Nano tubes(CNT)
 A Paper battery is a flexcible , ultra thin energy storage
device made of cellulose(paper) and Carbon Nano tubes. A
Paper battery can act as a super capacitor and also as a high
energy battery.

by applying it on
the paper…..

10.  Heat the cellulose
paper in an oven ,
preheated at 150
degree centigrade…..
 Then peel off
the film from the
substrate…….

11.  Then the probes are connected to an
LED and we have our paper battery……..
