Other people live in the world and come to the library, but until recently, librarians have often lived in the library and only occasionally escaped to the world. Patron expectations today are shaped by myriad external factors, and libraries are responding through developing a user experience (UX) culture. Come and be inspired to intentionally integrate sustainable UX practices into your day-to-day, and discover tangible actions to implement in your library’s virtual and physical environments.

So here is an alternate. I like the “hell yeah” attitude on this one.
//YES
Decided icons wouldn’t really fit with the rest of the style and not sure how I could have represented them. Cranky emojis just kept coming to mind. Hope you like these OK. … do we want to do something else to differentiate these from the rest of the slides or will it be fine?
Really? You want to be the reason someone’s head is stuck in the toilet!?
Not sure how to capture our whole frame here in a line…
My mind went to myth, illusion, magic..i.e the idea that one of these things in itself is UX…or only have one piece of the puzzle.
Fixed it!
This would probably offend, ay? But but… https://www.flickr.com/photos/theenmoy/8917964574 //
Ha! Prolly better stick with stop signs for now, oh well.
Does that capture it?
Programmatic / culture change
I love this so much and hoped to use it again.
Maybe a yeah! You go glen cocoa! Slide ... Howsabout this? I changed it to grayscale since the colors were way diff from what we’re using. I tried enlarging it, but think it would be a little fuzzy on the big screen.
Changed the fill on the banner thing to match the rest of the theme, added some drop shadows to make it pop and unsmushed the text a bit … I want to put the Lead Pipe article on here, but the citation is too damn long
