I decided to add
another coverline to
fill up space on my
cover. It had to be
relevant to R&B so I
decided to choose the
VMA’s as it’s music
award show.
I made the word R&B
bold and grey so it can
make the magazine
easily identifiable that
it’s an R&B music
magazine.
Made the word
Free bold as its an
inducement used
to attract my target
audience.
I made these
R&B star’s
names in red,
so it can match
my housestyle
more and be
associated
with R&B

I decided to carry out more
photo-shoots so I can have
more variety of images on
my contents page and not
just one.
I am sticking to my
house-style in my
contents page with
the colours of red,
black ad grey being
used.
After looking at other existing music
magazines I decided to place an image of
my cover on my contents page.
I also added a talk and
review column as I thought
it would differentiate my
music magazine from
others.
