2. Webpage
When creating the webpage I wanted to make the artist and his new album recognizable to the
audience which is why I included an image of the artist as the background, with various images at the
top of the page and the album cover in center to help create brand identity and promote it.
I also focused a lot on the colour scheme and typeface. I used a mainly black, grey and white colour
scheme which is conventional to indie artists look, album art and music videos. I included Ollie
Logan’s logo at the top of the page to again create brand identity if the logo is seen on the album and
merchandise, also I chose the font for the links on the sides of the webpage because it looks similar
to the font of the logo and makes the presentation of the webpage look better.

3. Webpage Cntd.
I also included an image of the record company logo the artist is signed to (Domino
Records Ltd.) so again the audience can look up on the record label website and see
that Ollie Logan is signed to that record label which creates another brand identity link
which the audience can see.
Lastly I included a small paragraph of text in the center of the page which gives the
audience a very brief note about Ollie Logan and informs them about the new album,
single and video and where they can purchase the album from.

4. Digipak
When creating the digipak I included an image of the artist on the front and on the back of the
album, the artist’s logo is also on the front. I included all the recording details (location, company
etc.) on the back of the cover with a barcode as well to make it look more realistic and
professional, and across the top of the back clearly numbered is the album’s track-listing.
I chose the background image for he digipak because it links well to the title of the album
(Permanent December) and the indie genre itself which features indie photography even thought
that’s not I was aiming for when I took the photo a while back. The image of the artist is bold and
clear and recognizable to the audience which helps create the brand identity.

5. Music Video
Lastly the video itself is important when promoting the artist and album, the song
featured is the lead single from the album so it’s probably the first song of the artist
that the audience would hear. The video shows brand identity within its mise-en-
scene. The artist wears the same style of clothes in the video as he does in photos on
the webpage and digipak, so when the audience see that style they’ll associate it with
Ollie Logan. Also the style of clothing is worn by many people who like the genre so by
seeing the artist wearing that outfit will give the audience an idea of the genre.
