2. 1. Setting up
equipment
• Here I am setting up my
camera with the correct
focus and zoom level to
capture the shot I am
about to film. As you can
see I am also using my
shooting script to inform
and remind me of exactly
what the shot should
entail.
3. 2. Using pre-
production materials
• Here I am using the pre-production materials I
had previously made to make sure I am
following the script and shot list correctly. This
will ensure that my film comes out as coherent
and understandable.
4. 3. Following safe working
practices
• In the event of a spillage on set I was able to
keep the area safe for my crew by drying up the
spilt water. By doing this quickly I ensured that
no one was able to injure themselves on the
slippery floor, this being one of the risks I
highlighted in my risk assessment before
shooting began.
5. 4. Following production
processes
• In this photo I am communicating with one of
the acting crew whilst filming a scene in the
bedroom location. In using this action to tell the
actor to stop moving backwards in the frame, I
was able to achieve the best possible visual in the
shot before moving on to the next.
