2. At the start of the script, Eryn has just got in from a birthday meal with her mother is supposed
to look pretty and put together. She is wearing a black smart dress and make up with her hair
curled and tidy yet her make up has smudged away from her eyes and her dress is simple and
black hinting that she is dealing with something darker than what you would expect an
innocent 15 year old to be experiencing. I have a piece of clothing I can use for this at home.
She will also change costumes when the night section of the film begins and this will be into a
pair of pyjamas. These pyjamas will be patterned and suitable for a young age group to highlight
her true vulnerability without the coverage of make up and clothes. I also have these at home
and have included some examples below.
3. Eryn’s mum is a middle-aged woman who is aware of her appearance. She dresses
in mature and modest clothing but still puts considerable time into her visual
look, especially at the beginning of the film as they have just arrived home from
celebrating Eryn’s birthday. On this occasion she will be wearing jeans with heeled
boots and a patterned top with her hair straightened and minimal make up on.
My actor has suitable clothes to use for this role.
In her second appearance she will be wearing a fluffy dressing gown presenting
her motherly comforting presence to Eryn. I have included some examples below.
4. The Robber’s outfits will consist of the stereotypical black tight clothing with high
coverage and hidden features. This will be easy to source and I will buy some
authentic balaclavas to increase the recognisability of their costumes. However, to
inject some personality in their otherwise dark exterior they will wear their ‘own
choice’ of footwear to give their image more personal substance. This will add to
the questionability of the dream/reality aspect of the plot as not everything is
stereotypically ‘right’. I have included some examples below.
