1. How does the card appeal to its audience?
The cards are very mature and sophisticated which suits their target audience of people
ages 26-30. The layout is simple and easy to read for people who can prop the card up at
the side whilst they are cooking.
What is the best aspect of the fonts used?
The fonts are individual and different, they are very interesting and draw in the audience.
The font also ties in with the theme of the cards.
What areas of font use could be improved?
The font could be changed to a simpler font to make it easy to read for someone who is
cooking and reading at the same time.
An improvement on the font would be to choose one which doesn’t have too many
patterns on it.
Also the font is not suitable for the target audience.
Is the copy clear and easy to read?
The text used on the cards is not very clear and easy to read although it is for an older
generation we think that the font could still be clearer.
On the blog the font is easy and clear to read and mark.
Are there any errors?
There are no errors on the card as I is well structured and easy to follow through.
The only error on the blog that we have spotted is that there is no update of the cards
they have developed over the days to se how it has progressed.
What is the best aspect of the images used?
The best aspects of the images are they have used 3 different images and also they have
taken the images themselves and have produced some really good quality images. Making
hem look very professional.
What areas of the images could be improved?
There are no improvements to be done on the images.
What is the best aspect of the layout used?
The best aspect of the layout is that they have managed to keep a house style throughout
the cards which gives it a more professional look. It also fits in with the target audience as
its very elegant and mature.

2. What areas of the layout could be improved?
The layout could be more consistent, with a few of the images matching up correctly in
their intended boxes.
Do the cards work as a set?
The cards work as a set as they maintained a house style throughout the cards and you
can tell they all go together as they have a professional look. They have chosen an all
around the world theme giving us different flavours of different countries which work
together making them interesting.
What changes could be made to improve the cards?
The font could be changed to make the text clearer to read so it is easy on the eye when
you are cooking the food as we believe the font is not suitable for their target audience
which is aimed for people 26-30.
Do you feel it meets the brief? If so why/why not?
Yes as they have chosen mature layouts for their audience and the food they have chosen
is sophisticated.
Do the cards make the recipe appealing?
We like how they have used the place of the country in with the food title giving it a more
exciting appeal to it. Also they have used jelly for Africa which fits in well with the theme
as jelly is popular in Africa.
Do the cards look professional? If so why/why not?
The cards look professional as they look eye catching and there is a range of colours used.
The only thing that doesn’t look very professional is that they need to change the text font
as it doesn’t not appeal the aimed audience.
Do you feel this work is better or worse than your own and why?
I believe the work is not better or worse then our work as they have produced some
original ideas for the cards making it different and interesting for their target audience. A
lot of work has gone into this idea and they have show they have good photography skills
as they have produced their own images.
