  3. 3. eDelfoi as a method •  Our main method is the eDelfoi research tool, which is based on the Delphi method •  eDelfoi is a multi-purpose questionnaire for gathering a wide variety of opinions concerning possible future paths relating to a desired theme •  The Delphi method itself is a systematic, interactive foresight method which relies on a panel of anonymous, independent experts as a form of collective intelligence •  The main benefit of eDelfoi is that it produces probable and innovative visions and various paths to the future including collective evaluations regarding them •  The eDelfoi tool was developed by Otava Folk High School and Future Research Center of Turku School of Economics in Finland.

Goals of SOMY prediction research •  Our main research questions are: –  1) What kind of pedagogical models are emerging with social media? –  2) What benefits do social media bring to the quality of learning? •  Our eDelfoi research project is based on four sets of questions: –  –  –  –  –  •  1) Learning and pedagogy 2) Education materials and learning methods 3) Authorisation of information and 4) The future school environment This means 40 predictions for the year 2023 There were Finnish 33 experts of –  –  –  –  –  Researchers Teachers and principals for social media pilot schools Social media innovators and thrend setters Public sector Education and learning business
