3. Discussions
This was our very first week of being in a group for our production. We had
the choice of either creating a documentary or to create a 5 minute short
film. We had concluded to create a short film since as a group we had
thought that we were more comfortable in making a short film than a
documentary. We thought of a simply idea based on a disabled persons
day to day life. We had chosen our roles with Thuvaaragan being the
editor, Hassan as the cinematographer and with I, Rikhel being the director.
During this week had roughly brainstormed our idea with giving our group
options on possible actors and which locations we could film at to make
our short film look realistic.
We had used this time wisely and had created the production schedule to
make it easier to select the different members and what they would be in
charge of. For instance, we had all decided that Thuvaaragan would be in
charge of maintaining the group blog.
4. Points to cover for next week
To begin thinking about the different possible shots we could use in our
short film
To find good locations which doesn’t cause too much of a hassle
Brainstorm on possible actors who can play the protagonist
