3. Electronic Burglar Alarm System for Automobiles
The alarm accepts signals from a
variety of sources including special
sensors and the standard switches in a
car such as the door and ignition
contacts. The circuit consists of timers
triggering circuit, delay and control
circuits which provides relay out-put
that
controls an acoustic transponder
(loud speaker or buzzer). A switch is
used for all control functions like
setting alarm, energizing time etc.
4. Transistor Radio Receivers (AM/FM)
A radio receiver consists of a RF section with mixer and oscillator, IF
section with one or two amplifiers, a detector section and AF section with
push-pull amplifier stages and loud speakers. As per the circuit design these
stages are assembled on a printed circuit board using appropriate components
and aligned . It is essential to test the bought-out components prior to
assembly for avoiding any defective component going into the assembly.

6. Power Pack/Battery Eliminators
Battery eliminator is used in place of

AM/FM, tape recorders, calculators etc.
and other low power operated
equipments.
Battery eliminator’s output is DC voltage
which usually varies from 1.5 V / 3 V to
12 Volts / upto 500 mA. This item is
reserved for manufacture in the small
scale sector.
7. Electronic Quartz Analog Clocks
The electronic quartz analog clock has brought a revolution in
the clock industry. The quartz clocks were introduced in the
Indian market in 1977-78 and since then market as well as
production in India has been growing at a tremendous rate.
Some of the main features of the quartz clock are; high accuracy,
no winding required, works in any position, very low power
consumption, hardly any service required and the longer life of
the clock
The Quartz wall clock will be
assembled and for assembly other
raw materials such as quartz clock
movement, Cabinet, hand etc., will
be purchased from the market. In
this project profile, it is assumed that
the complete Quartz movement is
procured from outside. The
movement is fitted into Cabinet case
which is fitted with dial and the
hands are mounted on the
movement and after the glass and
back cover of Cabinet are fitted. The
needles have to be properly fitted at
accurate position on dial which
shows time.
Finally, the battery should be put into
the clocks put for testing for at least
2 days before despatch
8. Personal Computer (Pentium – IV)
Personal Computer hardware consists
of CPU, Memory, Direct memory access,
Peripheral controllers and interfaces,
Floppy disk drives and hard disk drives.
The peripherals consists of Keyboard,
CRT Monitor, Printer, Modem and Mouse
etc. and connected to the main PC
through cables and interfaces. Switched
Mode Power Supply (SMPS) are used to
power the personal computer for
different dc voltage: +5V, -5V, +12V and
-12V. The SMPS is housed in the PC
cabinet . The CRT Monitor and Printer
have their own power supply units
9. CRT Data Display Monitor (Colour
The main PC Board is assembled by
mounting the various active and passive
components. All the mechanical fittings
are fitted to the Cabinet alongwith
Cathode Ray Tube and other controls
and terminations. Printed circuit board
is tested individually with the help of
oscilloscope, multimeter and power
supplies and then fitted into the cabinet.
The wiring is completed for PCB. the final
testing is done with the help of personal
computer and software package for CRT
monitor testing

dust free. The Magnet frame Assembly is done and drying is
done, followed by dust free operation.
The voice coil, spider and the paper cone fixed on the yoke and
basket assembly by using adhesives.
The rubber lining is placed along the edge of the basket. Leads
are taken out to each terminal eyelet. The whole loud
speaker is tested for required specification before despatch.
