beginning, through titles. Just the noise of the
picture shacking and also Noise of picture being
taken. This connotes tension. Another way in which
tension is made by Loading of the gun, pace
quickens. Loudest part the gun shot and shout. This
links to the genre of a thriller as there is always
tension in a thriller.

This still uses the close up of the killers face. This
connotes atmosphere as in this still you don’t know
what he is looking at. This links to the theme of
crime as he has blood on his face and you want to
know what has happened and also links to the
genre of a psycho-thriller.

dead man on the floor. Also uses quick shots and
reversed movement. This links to the genre
because it shows that someone was shot, this
also develops on the theme of crime.

means that something will or is going to happen
that could be mysterious or crime related.

This still shows the killer. The audience see him
as a mysterious person as they know nothing
about him. He is glaring and looks in shock he is
also staring at the person he just killed.

In this still you can tell that the story is going to
be about a Gun firstly because you can see that
prop being used also about breaking the law and
crime. This links to the genre completely.

10. Titles
This still shows the title of the play and the blue
of the writing contrasts with the dark
background. The writing is simple and moves
fast in the slow music. As it is on top of the
picture of the room with the blood on the walls
it links to the themes and genre of the play.
