The student tutor set goals to show their student new ways of learning, improve test scores, increase interest in school, and learn new teaching techniques. Their goals were successful as the student learned different approaches and enjoyed school more, resulting in improved test scores. The tutor also benefited by learning effective and ineffective teaching methods and becoming a better listener.
