2. We will create a magazine based on an area of people at uni or going back to Uni.
Therefore, the age range is based above 18. However, Uni can be for any age which may
make this a wider range.This magazine will be based in the north east region which will
include many features and aspects which will be happening such as: fresher's week,
nightclubs, concerts coming up or shopping areas.
Our magazine will appeal to this target audience which we have chosen to base towards
because it may help them with tips at uni or even the best places to go.Therefore, it is a
ideal opportunity for the target audience which make it suitable for the audience.With
our product they would read this and also there would be a online edit version which
stretches the availability and the audience size. Moreover, this will give help promotion
and also make the magazine wider as more people are getting access to the internet and
may not want to have paper lying around, so this creates it more ideal for the customers
and audience as well as us by this will help the population of the magazine grow.
Also, this product will appeal the audience by the great things it has to offer and also the
colours and text/ font used.This will be used by bright colours representing the topics
such as the nightclubs and fresher's week. Also this could be for the fun times what is
ahead.
3. What the magazine will look like…
The magazine we are creating will be appealing and eye catching.We will do this by a range of techniques
such as bright colours and images.
Throughout the magazine we will stick to a colour style to create authenticity and class. For example, we
will be using colours like pinks and blues.Therefore, this will not be sexist and will show it is for all
genders.
For the front cover we will use a main image in the background which is colourful and text in front which
will make it stand out more than usual.
