2. My magazine will a music magazine as this is the
specification of my project however it will have lots of
gossip and exclusive stories in as my survey shows that this
is what the readers want.

3. My magazine will be aimed at the 15 to 20 year old age group as
that appears to be the group that tends to mostly buy
magazines, therefor will hopefully buy my magazine if I aim it at
that target audience.

4. After looking at this response I gave decided that my
magazine will be a top 40 music magazine as that appears
to be the most popular in my servay. Also this genre as it is
a genre of music that is very popular and has a huge
following, also due to my personal interest in this genre I
know a lot about it. Also due to the music being top 40 it
will be very popular with listeners and each artist will have
a huge fan base who will hopefully follow my magazine
when their favourite artist is included.

5. According to my survey most of the people that filled it in
buy magazines for entertainment and gossip so I will
include gossip in my magazine, especially in my double
page spread and contents page.

6. According to my results most people read magazines every now
and again which has aided me in my decision to choose to publish
my magazine bi weekly. I have chosen my magazines publication to
be biweekly because most of the magazines that my survey
discovered people liked come out once every 2 weeks. I have also
chosen to do this as I feel weekly is too frequent and it would be
easy for customers to miss an issue and therefor the fan base may
not be as strong as it will be hard to keep up with the magazine so I
feel every 2 weeks would suit my magazine better.

7. The majority of the people that answered my survey were female
which is good as I plan on aiming my magazine towards women
mainly, however I feel men would enjoy it too.

8. My magazine survey shows that most people
who are willing to buy my magazine are white
British, there for I will aim my magazine content
at white British people as that is the highest
ethnicity population in Britain.

9. The majority of the people who filled in my survey said
they do read other peoples magazines which could be a
problem for the magazine as it would mean that people
tend to share their magazines rather than purchase them
all individually meaning the magazine may not make as
much money as they possibly could, however this is an
issue all magazines face.

10. 47% of people said they would pay from £2-£2.99 there for
I have chosen to charge £2.99 for my magazine. I have
chosen this price as it reflects my target market as many
people that are in the 16-24 year old age category will have
some disposable income however not a lot as they will be
either students or may only have a part time job however
they tend to chose to spend their disposable income on
luxury items like clothes, music and magazines.

11. From the results of my survey it appears that
people like a range of different magazines
however men's fitness and KERRANG! do not
seem popular so I will try and base my magazine
about the top 40, gossip and exclusive interview
genre for my music magazine.
