it is used in both personal and business situations.
Their primary purpose is to formally congratulate a person or an organization
for an outstanding achievement.

- Impressive performance in theatre or debate
- Family events, Graduation, Birth of a child, wedding
Expressions that can be used:

5. when writing a
Congratulatory letter,
be:
• Enthusiastic you should feel a strong excitement
when writing and give an active interest.
• Sincerewrite what is real, what your heart is saying and
don’t pretend.
• Appreciative you should feel and understand their
worth or the importance of their award
6. First paragraph
• always tells the purpose of the letter
Ex. Congrats to your baby, job etc.
Middle paragraph
• provide a few details, atleast 3 short
paragraphs
Closing paragraph
• Should be short.
