images, and spatial understanding
• Aural (Auditory) –learn best through sound and
music
• Verbal (Linguistic) –learn best through words,
verbal and/or written

The term Learning Corners refers to
designated areas of the classroom
where students congregate in small
groups to accomplish given learning
tasks. Typically, students can work
independently in these centers,
sometimes while the teacher works
with a small reading group.

vocabulary and reading skills
of the students.

develop reading habits in
preschoolers and to teach them how
to take care of books.
