This PowerPoint helps students to consider the concept of infinity.
Test shots
1. My Test Shots
Using the professional cameras, the ones we will use on the
15th when filming I took some test shots for our magazine and
poster pieces.

2. These are out test shots for the poster front cover. What you see here is Mia Carter (at the front) with the murderer/ other suspect behind. His face isn't
shown to add to the dramaticeffect and keep the audience guessing. As test shots we do not have all the props and costume we will have on filming day
e.g. Mia will be wearing clothes other than black so we can easily distinguish her from the murderer behind, we will have crime scene tape across the
front and there space will be a lot more isolated. But this is the idea for our poster. We may take the photos of the murderer and Mia as different shots
and edit them together later. This will ensure a clear and high resolution picture for both. We will use the high tech cameras to the best of their ability.
3. These images are of the props and equipment we will need to use of filming day, including the evidence board shown in
photo 1, the black hood for the murderer in photo 2 and the studio LED lights in photo 3. These amongst other things will be
important in the production of our piece on filming day. I took photos of these when we were in Castle field Studios when
exploring our filming locations prior to filming.(link to Location Recce)
4. This is the main imagestyle I am going to be
using for my magazine front cover. It is a mid-
shot, with direct mode of address. This image
however has indirect mode of address. (this is
something that I will change in the real piece). I
got Lucy to stand in front of the studio lights and
I took a mid-shot with the camera. Lucy, in this
photo isn't directly looking into the camera which
is something that will change when we do the
real shot. I will have 'Mia' looking directly in the
camera, with the studio lights set up equally on
each side so the light distribution is equal to
create a symmetrical lit image(three point
lighting system), so I don’t end up with a lot of
shadows behind her as it will make it very difficult
to edit in photoshop.
