3. What is Bauer’s company history?
Bauer was originally a small printing company in Germany, until they
entered the UK with the launch of ‘Bella’ magazine in 1987. Bella made a
significant impact on the women's market. The company gained
attention again in 1990 with the launch of Take a Break magazine.
Touching the lives of millions of women with its unique blend of
upfront real life and competitions, the title quickly became market
leader. Despite strong competition, Take a Break has maintained its
No.1 status, currently selling approximately 800,000 copies a week.
The 1990's saw H Bauer further strengthen its portfolio with the launch of
TVQuick in 1991, that's life! in 1995 and TVChoice in 1999.

5. Absolute Radio is one of the UK's three Independent National
Radio stations. The station rebranded to its current name at on 29
September 2008. The station is based in London and plays popular
rock music. It is also available in other parts of the world via
satellite, cable, and on the Internet.
The Absolute Radio family of stations is made up of Absolute
Radio, Absolute Classic Rock, Absolute Radio 60s, Absolute Radio
70s, Absolute Radio 80s, Absolute Radio 90s and Absolute Radio
00s. From the stations absolute radio have, it shows their target
audience would aim towards adults because of the range of the
music they offer.

6. Q is a popular music magazine published monthly in the United
Kingdom. Q was founded in 1986 by Mark Ellen and David
Hepworth. Q was first published by the EMAP ( Bauer) media group
in October 1986, setting itself apart from much of the other music
press with monthly production and higher standards of
photography and printing. In the early years, the magazine was
sub-titled "The modern guide to music and more". Originally it was
to be called Cue, but the name was changed so that it wouldn't be
mistaken for a snooker magazine.
Q magazine’s target audience is the older generation, people in
their 30’s and 40’s, although Q does not aim their magazines at the
older generation, it tends to attract them.

The BBC was founded in 1995 in London.
In addition to broadcasting, the BBC has for much of its life also

be returned to the corporation to aid in the financing of these
services.

10. CBeebies is a BBC television network for programming aimed at
encouraging learning through play in a consistently safe
environment for children aged 8 or under.
The channel has won a number of awards. At the BAFTA children's
awards, it won awards in 2002 and in every year between 2002 and
2015.
The CBeebies channel launched on 11 February 2002.
