3. 3
• A quick note: While point values may be
assigned to correct or incorrect items in your
assessments, here we’re using the concept of
scores based on rating scales – available in
both surveys and assessments.
5. • Weighted Score is the average value
of your selected rating questions –
questions like Rating Sale, Rating
Radio Button, etc.

6. 6
• On the Omni Report, choose to display
Weighted Score as a number (average
on the scale) or a percentage
(Weighted Score divided by the
highest weight and multiplied by 100).
8. 8
• Let’s say you work for a healthcare
organization that administers multiple
practices.
• You send out a patient experience
survey, collect responses, and view
your results. What do you learn?
9. 9
• Rather than finding out how many
people chose “Very Satisfied”
(frequency), Weighted Score helps
you understand that the overall rating
was 4.2 out of 5.
• Weighted Score makes it easy to
understand the big picture at a glance,
as well as scores for specific practices.
