According to world happiness index India ranks 140 in 2019. WHO predicts that by 2020,roughly 20 per cent of India will suffer from
mental illnesses. The indicators of Gross National Happiness Index made by Bhutan gives us an insight that how health- both physical and
mental & education factors to overall happiness.
Being from a third world country- most Indians are not aware about the basic life skills required to thrive and not just survive. However,
there’s an up rise for education that infuses critical thinking and problem-solving skills into the leaders of tomorrow and equips them to
practice peace, harmony, tolerance and everyday civic manners. Masterlife is well placed to cater to this need of the urban population.

Masterlife is a platform that helps people to
identify the areas of imbalance and then
helps them to fix it through its self-paced
and community learning programs. The 8
areas of The MasterLife that one need to
have balance in are Business & Career,
Contribution To Society, Finance & Wealth,
Fun, Health & Fitness, Relationships,
Personal Growth and Spirituality.
The 3 key features I’d like to introduce to
increase the assessment completion rates :
I. Select theme and shorter

• to easily decipherable

• Simplicity
• The questions should be easy to decipher and direct
to ensure quicker response. The questions should not ask user to
think a lot
• Example questions that can be simplified:
• I usually feel like my life is in harmony with the world around me
• I make the most of all that life has to offer
• Redundancy
• The questions should not be overlapping – should be MECE (Mutually
Exclusive and Collectively Exhaustive)
• Example overlapping questions:
• I believe my life is meaningful and has a purpose
• I have found a satisfying purpose in life
• We should have variation in options – done in the second competitor

Progress bar
Brief outline
• A progress bar or any other visual
indicator like ‘percent-done progress
indicator’ allows user to monitor our
progress while completing the task.
• Progress indicators are meaningful user-
interface tool, and that they enhance the
enchantment and effectiveness of any
assessment or surveys taken up by users
as confirmed by both practical experience
and formal experiments.
• Some other research says the following things:
• Progress indicators increase survey satisfaction &
respondent engagement
• 75 percent respondents in the no-progress-bar group
of an experiment preferred to have some indication of
progress
• Survey monkey ran experiments on progress bars and
concluded that progress bars should be at the bottom
and not the top of each page of survey.

Assessment optimization
• Instead of 24 questions covering 8 different themes, 3 themes can
be selected, based on it there should be only 3 questions per
theme
• Total 9 questions to be answered for initial partial assessment
• Since other questions are not given to customers, it helps us to ask
for other non-selected assessment later – which induces continued
engagement with the app, user journey and discovery
• Based on the 3 themes selected, there should be only 3 questions per
theme
• This decreases the barrier of app usage and encourages quicker
assessment completion
• Segmentation/Themes recall available on top screen for easy navigation
• Right double arrow >> also helps to move between pages
• Option for user to go back and change initial themes selection and
answers
• Progress bar increases by 1/3rd each page

  • 3. According to world happiness index India ranks 140 in 2019. WHO predicts that by 2020,roughly 20 per cent of India will suffer from mental illnesses. The indicators of Gross National Happiness Index made by Bhutan gives us an insight that how health- both physical and mental & education factors to overall happiness. Being from a third world country- most Indians are not aware about the basic life skills required to thrive and not just survive. However, there’s an up rise for education that infuses critical thinking and problem-solving skills into the leaders of tomorrow and equips them to practice peace, harmony, tolerance and everyday civic manners. Masterlife is well placed to cater to this need of the urban population.   • 4. Masterlife is a platform that helps people to identify the areas of imbalance and then helps them to fix it through its self-paced and community learning programs. The 8 areas of The MasterLife that one need to have balance in are Business & Career, Contribution To Society, Finance & Wealth, Fun, Health & Fitness, Relationships, Personal Growth and Spirituality. The 3 key features I’d like to introduce to increase the assessment completion rates : I. Select theme and shorter questionnaire * II.   • 5. Questionnaire improvement Brief outline Competitor examples • Simplicity • The questions should be easy to decipher and direct to ensure quicker response. The questions should not ask user to think a lot • Example questions that can be simplified: • I usually feel like my life is in harmony with the world around me • I make the most of all that life has to offer • Redundancy • The questions should not be overlapping – should be MECE (Mutually Exclusive and Collectively Exhaustive) • Example overlapping questions: • I believe my life is meaningful and has a purpose • I have found a satisfying purpose in life • We should have variation in options – done in the second competitor screenshot, done for Masterlife question on financial planning

Progress bar Brief outline • A progress bar or any other visual indicator like ‘percent-done progress indicator’ allows user to monitor our progress while completing the task. • Progress indicators are meaningful user- interface tool, and that they enhance the enchantment and effectiveness of any assessment or surveys taken up by users as confirmed by both practical experience and formal experiments. • Some other research says the following things: • Progress indicators increase survey satisfaction & respondent engagement • 75 percent respondents in the no-progress-bar group of an experiment preferred to have some indication of progress • Survey monkey ran experiments on progress bars and concluded that progress bars should be at the bottom and not the top of each page of survey.

Engagement Levers • Push notifications can be used to engage users throughout their lifecycle by sending the right notification at the right time. • Customization of push notification can enhance customer conversion and retention. Sample: Email Notifications • Welcome emails are extremely crucial in the customer onboarding journey. • This email can guide new customers to the next step. Giving them an idea of what to expect will help make their first experience with Masterlife a positive one. • These emails the highest open rate of any emails at 60%. • Additionally user should be able to track progress to reach ‘max potential’ (quantifiable) – this communicates benefit of app, subscription, modules, etc. • Incremental progress should be evident – which can lead to extended/continued subscription
