the low intensity explosion
occurred at church street
in Bengaluru.38-year-old
Bhavani Devi, a resident
of Mount Road in
Chennai, died in the blast.
She had come to
Bangalore four days ago
to celebrate Christmas
with her family and was
with her two daughters
and eight other family
members when the blast
occurred. Doctor Kanchan
Sanyal who was treating
Bhavani Devi at Mallya
Hospital confirmed to the
media that she died of
shrapnel wounds to her
head. Sanyal said that
doctors tried CPR but
Devi, who had an open
wound, could not be
revived as her brain tissue
was exposed.
The second injured,

mat hospital and is now
out of danger.
According to officials the
group was crossing the
road and heading towards

device went off just before
Devi got to the restaurant.
Ramchandran Shetty, a
police officer at the blast
site, told Reuters that pre-
liminary investigation sug-
gested it was an impro-
vised explosive device
filled with shrapnel.
Police said the device had
been placed near a drain
behind the Coconut Grove
restaurant. The blast site
has been cordoned off
and cars parked at the
roadside were being
towed. The police have
taken the owner and the
guard of paan shop near-
by, to record their state-
ments.who are eyewit-
ness. Rumours of three
other blasts in the city
have been ruled out as
'mischief' by Director gen-
eral of Karnataka police L

Isha
Ramana Rao scrupulously
forecasts specific events in
details much before they
occur and there are abun-
dant reasons to believe the
prophecies made by him.
People laughed when he
first anticipated the win of
Obama in first round of
elections, “I had seen his
hands in a picture and
could foretell his win”. He
also stated that Obama
would win the second elec-
tions owing to his wife’s
strong planetary positions.
Palmistry and face reading
is not learnt, it is inherent.
Ramana Rao firmly admin-
isters that simple act
benevolence can intercept
several acts of violence.
Giving away care packs to
the people sleeping on the
pavements, rescuing ani-
mals from slaughter hous-
es, providing a healing
touch for blind and disabled
children and helping poor
widows is what he swears
by. In 2011, he predicted
that Mr. Pranab Mukherjee
would become a President.
He had also predicted
YSR’s chopper crash in an
interview with MAA T.V
three years prior to the
occurrence. The prediction
infuriated many and when
asked
about it, he said“I could see
the events happening in
YSR’s hand”. There was an
instance during a meeting
with former Chief Minister
B.S. Yeddyurappa,
Ramana Rao was inquired
if Yeddyurappa would
become the Chief Minister
of Karnataka and he
replied “that one of his fol-
lowers will be the next
Chief Minister”. The inter-
pretation was upsetting for
B.S. Yeddyurappa but
when it became a reality,
Ramana Rao’s prophecy
was warmly acknowl-
edged. Future IntuitionThe
future of India is bright and
is in safe hands. Prime
Minister Narendra Modi will
prove to be an exceptional
leader and India will pros-
per financially and political-
ly under him. “A man like
him (Narendra Modi) is
only born once and there
can be no one like him ever
again”, says Ramana Rao.
“It is not flattery, I do not
favour anyone I say things I
see”, added Ramana Rao.
Ramana Rao’s humble
request for the Prime
Minister is the use of mili-
tary airplanes while travel-
ling abroad and to other
states. He further insists
that Narendra Modi should
have women advisors with
initials ‘S’ and ‘R’ and must
always carry two black
dogs. He further adds,
“Smriti Irani will again an
important position due to
her strong planetary posi-
tions and that NDA will
come to power in the forth-
coming Delhi elections”.

sonal)

New York- United Nations
Secretary-General Ban Ki-
moon has called on the
Government of Pakistan to
bring an end to the execu-
tions of all convicts and re-
impose the country’s morato-
rium on the death penalty, a
UN spokesperson said. Ban

the moratorium on the death penalty,” Ban's office said in
a statement. Nawaz promised that “all legal norms would
be respected,” the statement said. UN chief appeal follows
Pakistan’s recent decision to lift a six-year moratorium on
the use of the death penalty following the recent terrorist
attack on a school in Peshawar which claimed the lives of
145 people, the majority of whom were children.

cases as before we even
booked more than 7000
cases and seized around
2500 autos across the city
against the errant auto
drivers and again after they
pay the fine again they
take their auto back most
of them they continue to do
the same thing because of
which we have come to
some certain conclusion
that we have to implement
new measures to have to
control of them so one of
the measure is that we are
thinking or thought of can-
celling their permits of this
errant autorickshaw drivers
so what we are doing is
whoever auto drivers have
refused and demanded
excess fare we have
seized such auto’s and
apart from they paying the
fine in the court,we are
also writing for their
Cancellation/Suspension
of their permits to the
transport department.So it
is one of the tough meas-
ures we are initiating now
so that we have good con-
trol on such kind of Auto
Drivers at the same time I
want to tell you all because
there are other good auto
drivers that we have
observed today in the drive
they never refuse to go for
hire and demand excess
fare,such kind of auto driv-
ers are there we have to
appreciate them and such
auto drivers have been
noted also&we will appre-
ciate them with suitable
rewards at the right forum

Noida: Vodafone Delhi, as a leading tele-
com operator of the circle, has taken a
leadership position for providing quality
and unmatched customer experience to
it’s over 95 Lakh customers in Delhi NCR.
With more than 50,000 retail touch points
including Global design & exclusive
Stores, Mini Stores, Angel stores and
Multi Brand Outlets, Vodafone is bringing
a world class retail experience to its cus-
tomers. One such innovation is the
Vodafone Red Box Service - first-of-its-
kind free of cost telecom service offering
by Vodafone India, that facilitates secure
data transfer, specially pictures, videos
and documents, from one mobile handset
to another. The service is available at any
Vodafone RoTo (Retail of Tomorrow)

ed free of cost to customers, irrespective
of their mobile network. Trained Vodafone
customer service personnel at these
stores will take care of the data transfer
requirements of the customers. Vodafone
Red Box is compatible with all branded

any handset brands available in the mar-

24x7 Self Service Kiosks, Red Box, Global Design stores PSU banks may gain in 2015; Nifty support 7900
he market is unlikely to
fall much ahead of the
Budget, says UR Bhatt of
Dalton Capital Advisors. he
says the Nifty could move in
a range of 7900-8300 till
Budget. Bhatt sees 7900 as
a strong support level for the
Nifty. He expects shares of cement and engineering
companies to be good buying opportunities post-Budget,
as new projects take shape. He expects consolidation in
the PSU banks space and feels these banks could be the
surprise winners of 2015. Bhatt feels the RBI may wait
for the currency to stabilise before cutting interest rates.
He sees spectrum auction as an important trigger in the
telecom sector, and expects the next one year to be an
uncertain one for telecom companies because of regula-
tory disruptions. His advice to clients for 2015 is to invest
50 percent in equities and the rest in debt. Bhatt sees
long term debt doing well in 2015. We can have two good
years but probably not as good as 2014. Everything
depends on some movement forward on the policy front.
That probably would get known in the budget. Budget is
going to be very big determinant because for last budget
there was not enough time for the government to put its
stamp on it but this Budget has to be dramatically differ-
ent.

Wait till December 31: Arun Jaitley
on extension of auto excise sop
ew Delhi: Finance
Minister Arun
Jaitley said when asked if
government would be
extending the reduced
excise duty incentive
expiring on December 31.
The previous UPA govern-
ment had cut excise duty
on cars, SUVs and two-
wheelers in the Interim Budget in February to help the
industry tide over a demand slump. Excise duty was
reduced to 24 per cent from 30 per cent in the case of
SUVs, 20 per cent for mid-sized car from 24 per cent and
24 per cent for large cars from 27 per cent.
In June, the new government led by Narendra Modi
extended the excise duty concession by six months to
December 31.
After two successive years of sales slump, the auto
industry had shown some growth posting a growth of
10.01 per cent in April-November period this fiscal at
1.33 crore units as against 1.21 crore units in the year-
ago period. Car makers have asked the government to
extend excise duty relief saying removal of this incentive
could push the industry into a negative territory. Maruti
SuzukiBSE -1.13 % India Chairman R C Bhargava today
said if the incentive is not continued beyond December
31, automobile prices would go up further in the next
year.

movies I would really like
to see, but don’t have time
to. On my long list of films
to go to was "The
Interview," starring James
Franco and Seth Rogen.
With the general premise
of two talk-show hosts
attempting to assassinate
North Korean dictator Kim
Jong-un via a CIA plot, it
seemed like a comedy I
would have really enjoyed.
That is, until Sony pulled
the film from its Christmas
Day release, following a
massive hack organized
by the self-dubbed
Guardians of Peace. Aside
from the now widely
known and highly embar-
rassing hack, the organi-
zation also suggested
Sony “remember the 11th
of September 2001.”
Because of the threat this
posed to theaters showing
the film, and also the
nature of the privacy
breach, Sony decided to
not release "The Interview"
on its originally planned
date. Such a move
prompted a backlash from
countless Hollywood fig-
ures, and even disap-
proval from President
Barack Obama, a stand-
point I find myself agreeing
with. While I do agree that
using a living world leader
as an assassination target
was not the greatest plot
point a film could have
come up with, giving in to
the demands of a faceless
terrorist-like organization
sets a shameful precedent
for Hollywood.
By allowing the group to
determine what the world
can see, Sony essentially
let itself be censored by
North Korea (as the FBI
did determine that region
was the origin of the hack).
