Ola has partnered with BMC to launch electric rickshaws on its app to improve mobility in smaller cities and towns. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch Ola's first online e-rickshaw booking on the Ola app as part of the 'Stand Up India' initiative. A total of 5,100 e-rickshaws will be deployed across Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad to begin with. This will empower local rickshaw drivers by allowing them to upgrade their skills and become e-rickshaw driver-entrepreneurs.

Delhi/NCR: Ola, in partner-
ship with BMC, is committed
to improving mobility in
smaller cities and towns by
enabling cycle rickshaw
peddlers to upgrade as
skilled e-rickshaw driver-
entrepreneurs. New Delhi,
05 April 2016: Ola, India’s
most popular mobile app for
transportation, announced
the introduction of electric-
rickshaws, popularly known
as E-rickshaws, on its
mobile app, enabling reliable
mobility in smaller towns and
cities. The first Ola E-rick-
shaw shall be booked on the
Ola mobile application later
today, by Shri Narendra
Modi, Honourable Prime
Minister of India, at the
launch of ‘Stand-Up India’
initiative aimed promoting
entrepreneurship. A total of
5,100 Ola e-rickshaws will
be launched in partnership
with Bhartiya Micro Credit
(BMC) at the event and will
be deployed across Delhi,
Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad
and Ghaziabad. This will be
further scaled up in the com-
ing months to more small
towns and Tier 3 cities
across the country. With
over 60 percent of the
India’s population residing in
small towns across the
country, Ola, with its E-
Rickshaw initiative aims to
strengthen mobility in these
towns, using technology that
is convenient for both driver-
partners and customers.
Citizens in these cities and
towns currently suffer from
lack of convenient and reli-
able mobility options, espe-
cially for short distances. E-
rickshaws are an affordable
and greener alternative in
these cities that can serve
mobility needs unique to
these small towns and cities
in India.
Speaking on the occasion,
Pranay Jivrajka, Chief
Operating Officer at Ola
said, “It’s an honour to sup-
port PM Modi’s ‘Stand-up
India’ initiative aimed at
empowering thousands of e-
rickshaw driver-partners,
with innovative micro-entre-
preneurship solutions and
technology platform.
Economic growth, rapid
urbanization and environ-
mental concerns are driving
the need for innovative
mobility solutions across the
country. The transportation
needs of users in smaller
towns and sustainable alter-
natives for cycle rickshaw
peddlers, will be solved for
with the introduction of e-
rickshaws on the Ola app,
which are affordable, envi-
ronment friendly and con-
venient to hail. We believe
this will touch the lives of
hundreds of millions of citi-
zens as well as the liveli-
hoods of millions of driver
entrepreneurs, taking us
closer to our mission of
mobility for a billion people.”
Ola’s E-rickshaws will give
existing rickshaw pullers, the
opportunity to enhance their
skills and become driver-
entrepreneurs and access to
consistent demand through
the Ola app on their smart-
phones. These green,
affordable and sustainable
vehicles involve lower
human effort compared to
pulled rickshaws, giving rick-
shaw driver-entrepreneurs a
chance to become an inte-
gral part of Ola’s plan to
enable mobility for a billion
people.

The ambitious campaign of “Make in
India” by our Prime Minister Hon’ble
Narender Modi ji started with very
good perspective. Only the visionary
leader can think about such idea and
implement all his concepts & thoughts
just for the all round development of
India. Whether it is Digital India to
adopt latest technological set up to
Start Up Indian campaign, which is
based on an action plan aimed at pro-
moting bank financing for start-up
ventures to boost entrepreneurship
and encourage start ups with jobs cre-
ation.
Now, yet another campaign Stand Up
India initiated by Prime Minister
Narendra Modi. The Stand Up India
initiative will promote entrepreneur-
ship among women, SC & ST commu-
nities. It is expected to benefit a large
number of such entrepreneurs, as it is
intended to facilitate at least two such
projects per bank branch (Scheduled
Commercial Bank) on an average one
for each category of an entrepreneur.
'Stand up India' aims to empower
every Indian and enable them to stand
on their own feet.
PM Modi paid tribute to Babu Jagjivan
Ram, who served the nation for years.
He even said that his vision for 'Stand
Up India' is to give opportunities to
Dalit and poor people to being reforms
in India.According to P.M. Modi
“Through 'Stand Up India' initiative,
we intend to turn job seekers into job
creators. Arun Jaitley said, "Through
Stand Up India initiative, we intend to
encourage entrepreneurship among
woman and SC and STs."
Modi recently launched the Stand-Up
India Programme. The scheme pro-
poses to leverage the institutional
credit structure to reach out to SC/ ST
under-served entrepreneur’s sectors
of the population by facilitating bank
loans. PM to come up with credit
guarantee schemes for the SC/ST
entrepreneurs and now they are get-
ting a cover of Rs. 50 lakh to 15 crore.
Mr. Milind Kamble-president of The
Dalit Indian Chambers of Commerce
& Industry (DICCI) also appreciated
P.M. Modi. According to Mr. Kamble it
is the biggest financial inclusion pro-
gramme that the country ever came
up with. Kamble further added that
the scheme would be benefiting as
many as 1.25 Lakh SC/ST entrepre-
neurs as well as the 1.25 Lakh women
entrepreneurs of the country.
Government has also made venture
capital funds in which one can get the
a assistance up to Rs 15 crore. The
Industrial Financial Corporation of
India (IFCI) is operating all these
schemes. “We told the PM that we
don’t have collateral free loans, and
then he came up with Stand-Up India
scheme where they give collateral
free loans from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 1
crore,” said DICCI Chief. Number of
SC/ST entrepreneurs has grown rap-
idly after the liberalisation; he said
adding that 15 per cent of total SME
entrepreneurs are SC/ST.
With all these new initiatives & imple-
mentation, India will certainly achieve
what our country deserve. But to ful-
fill the dreams of positive Indians, it’s
the duty to come forward and make
these ambitious campaign into reality.
India is lucky to have a visionary
leader like P.M. Modi. He himself set
many example before getting this
prestigious post. Indian have talent
but its not exposed properly. Now,
with the sincere efforts & initiatives,
India is recognized at the global level.
This is good sign for our nation. Stand
Up India campaign is the need of the
hour to fulfill the ambitious ideas into
reality.

Wounds are as old as human
history. The word dressing is
derived from the French word
drecier, which means to
arrange, and implies to make
straight, to make right, and to
put in proper order.
The use of textiles in medi-
cine has a long tradition. An
important field of application
is wound care and prevention
of chronic wounds. Along with
the technological develop-
ment of functional textiles,
their use in wound healing
and prevention of chronic
wounds has reached a new
quality of interactivity
between biological tissues
and textiles.
Wound dressings were gen-
erally designed to keep the
wound clean and free from
contamination and also to
promote wound healing.
Wound dressings should be:
1)Capable of maintaining a
high humidity at the wound
site while removing excess

In recent years many new
dressings have become avail-
able which differ greatly in
performance from the sim-
ple absorbent products
made from cellulose fiber
which have been used in the
past. Various types of dress-
ings are being developed to
meet requirements of differ-
ent types of wounds:
Superabsorbent cellulosic
fibers: cotton and rayon is
treated with chloro-acetic acid
to make carboxymethylcellu-
lose.
Polyurethane film and foam:
semi-permeable polymeric
coating is used in textile to
make breathable clothing. It is
also used in making wound
dressing.
Hydrogel: hydrogel are
cross- linked polymeric net-
works which get swollen after
absorbing tissue fluid. These
dressings are ideal carriers
for antibiotics and growth fac-
tors.
Silverlon: it is a knitted fabric
dressing that has been silver
plated by means of chemical
plating technique, resulting in
a very large surface area for
the release of ionic silver.
urgotul SSD: it consists of a
polyester mesh impregnated
with carboxymethylcellulose,
white soft paraffin and silver
sulfadiazine.
Future trends in medical tex-
tiles Embroidery Technology
for Medical Applications The
close control over fiber archi-
tecture offered by embroidery
is of potential interest for
highly loaded structures,
enabling fibers to be placed in
the position and with orienta-
tions necessary to optimize
strength and stiffness locally.
Hernia patches, implants for
intervertebral disc repair and
a graft stent for the repair of
aortic aneurysm have been
designed.
Antibacterial Textiles
Silver impregnated textiles
are used as wound dressings
for infected wounds or
wounds at high risk of infec-
tion. Whereas linkages
between biocidal moieties
and cellulose are covalently
formed on reactive hydroxyl
groups, polyamides,
polypropylene and polyester
lack such reactive sites. Dye
molecules can be used as
bridges to bind functional
antimicrobial groups to chem-
ically stable synthetic poly-
mers.
Conclusion Thus the applica-
tion of textile in high perform-
ance and specialized fields
are increasing day by day.
There will be an increasing
role for medical textile in
future. Thus the textile will be
used in types of wound dress-
ing, as an interactive material.

Rishabh Panwar
The word of mouth whichwe
often hear "youth is the future
of this world" . Practically
speaking human is a mortal
being and what he does is for
making world a better place
for new traits of life . Youth is
considered to be a person
who does not have a stable
mind and cannot make his
/her choices by themselves. A
general criteria set up by the
system for a child is below 18
yeara of age . Law uses a dif-
ferent word called juvenile for
children of this age group. We
know that world is a harsh
place and no one is complete-
ly happy with their phrases of
life. Minor faults of life could
be sensed anywhere. In this
harsh world we meet good
and bad people identical from
face and distingused by
deeds. It is not necesaary that
everyone will be pleased with
a good company. Bad people
are their in the world who cre-
ate the sitiuations which make
life look bad .These situations
sometimes forces juvenile to
engage themselves in some
dirty deeds , which legally is
called as juvenile crime.
Juvenile crime rates is emerg-
ing with an ascending
momentum. Childen between
the ages of 16 to 18 years age
generally involved more in
crimes. Crimes highlighted
are theft ,snatching and bur-
glary etc. These are not very
severe but nowday children
are one commiting prominent
crimes of rape ,robbery,mur-
der etc. These crimes are
commimted on so high quanti-
ties that the report of national
crimes record bureau 2013
awared us that their is a total
of 43,506 crimes that has
been commited by juvenile
beteween the age group of
16-18 years. This age is per-
ticulary highlighted because
this is the time when the
human mind is unstable and is
easily influenced and manipu-
lated . A person undeegoes
many changes during these
years . These are the same
years of adoloscense , where
a pesron exites puberty and
steps into being an adult. This
age is like hot molten metal
which the society hammers ,
shapes and carves. Parenting
is the basic factor directly link-
ing a juvenile character . If
something is missed in these
years the whole life that will
remain missing. Parenting is
not only connected with build-
ing of a character but juvenile
deliquency too. parenting is
just a start towards the other
numeruos factors of juvenile
deliquency. One of the
prominemt one is poverty or
economic backwardness. .
Poverty pulls the leg of good
parenting and forces to teach
bad values for the mere sur-
vival. Need of money kills the
innocence of the child and
makes him work . Ultimately
to find easy solutions they are
caught up in juvenile crimes.
As mentioned earlier chil-
dren's mindset is unsatable
and sometimes due to situa-
tions they are caused with
mental problems like depres-
sion, agression, frustration
and hyper behaviour .
Depression is the one thing
which is very popular now-
days and its populatity is start-
ing to hit juvenile too . Even
the developed minds couod
not function fully under pres-
sure so how could the uns-
ables work with these prob-
lems. Now to talk about how
the crime trait starts its just
the matter of company and
society . It takes guts to start
the first offence of life but with
experienced company its
seems a lot more easiler.
Juvenile is currently protected
by the governmemt act of
juvenile justice 2000 . The law
protects teenagers from get-
ting the same treatment like
adult criminals . These offend-
ers rather going to jail are sent
to observation homes where
they are provided with safe
atmospheres . The maximum
time is 3 years for a juvenile to
be detained in a childern's
home . This law was going fair
but now due to current circum-
stances and cases coming
forward it has run a debate
about making juvenile age
younger. Todays society tends
to mature fast . A child of 16-
18 years is now well aware
about the happening around
the world and can make his
decision wisly . we cannot
make changes in the law by
hearing a hand full of such
cases. Also we have to con-
sider that if these children are
treated as criminals their
whole future will be destroyed
pluse no confirmation is their
that they will become a better
person in jail after spemding
time with other rash criminals
maybe they get worse. So
both the views are correct in
the light of current events and
morals , so we cannot say
anything and let the legisla-
ture work accordingly but to
suggest we can say that
severity of crime and the state
of mind of the offender must
be evaluated before making
any decisions. Children are
gods blessings and these are
to be kept safe. The run of
money and pride must not
snatch their way of living and
chance to make mistake . To
help we can enhance our val-
ues toward life and act as a
mentor to any child. One child
safe is one future safe.

The reports, citing regional police, said no police officers
or civilians were killed in the attacks this morning in the
town of Novoselitskoye in the Stavropol region.
The identity of the militants was not yet clear.
The Stavropol region is close to the North Caucasus,
where an Islamic insurgency has simmered for years. In
Dagestan, the centre of the insurgency, many of the
bombings and attacks have targeted police and other
officials.
Dagestan also has proved to be a fertile recruiting
ground for the Islamic State group, with hundreds esti-
mated to have travelled to Syria to join IS forces there.

The 18-year-old, named as Bourhan
Hraichie, has been charged with causing
grievous bodily harm and intentional
choking following the incident after lock-
down at the medium-security Kempsey
prison north of Sydney last week.
He reportedly assaulted his cellmate then
used a razor blade to carve “e4e” into his
head, an apparent reference to the
Islamic State group’s “eye for an eye”
mantra, before placing a towel on his face
and pouring boiling water over him.
The cellmate, who was rushed to hospital
with injuries to his head and burns to the
face, was initially reported to be a former
soldier, although officials later distanced
themselves from the claim.
New South Wales Corrections Minister
David Elliott said he was outraged by the
alleged attack.
“I will ask the Inspector of Custodial
Services for a full and thorough investiga-
tion of the management of radicalised
prisoners in the system, including the
assault,” he told reporters.
The manager of the facility has been sus-
pended but the state’s Corrective
Services Commissioner Peter Severin
denied Islamic radicalisation was a big
problem in the prison system.
“What we are dealing with is not a sys-
temic issue,” he told the Sydney Daily
Telegraph.
“Yes, we have a range of inmates who are
clearly at risk of being radicalised, but we
also have robust strategies.”

Homoeopathy Day inaugurated

Delhi: Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State
(Independent Charge) for AYUSH inaugurated the
International Convention on World Homoeopathy Day .
While inaugurating a Homoeopathic International
Convention, Shri Naik, greeted the people of India on the
occasion of World Homoeopathic Day.
Shri Naik, in his inaugural address, expressed regret
over the fact that the potential of Homoeopathy remains
largely unexplored and, therefore, underutilized in public
health. This, despite the fact that Homoeopathy is prac-
tised in more than 80 countries of the world and is known
to be effective in various communicable and non-com-
municable diseases, chronic diseases and diseases of
children and mothers, he added. He said that, during
pregnancy, when expecting mothers are usually advised
not to take much medication, Homoeopathy is a safe
alternative. The scope of prevention of various epidemic
diseases through Homoeopathy is also huge, but not yet
tapped, he added.
Shri Naik said that Homoeopathy, in India, has been well
institutionalized. We have 212 Homoeopathic hospitals
and more than 8000 Homoeopathic dispensaries. He
said there are almost 3 hundred thousand Homoeopathy
practitioners in India. There are 195 undergraduate and
about 40 post-graduation medical colleges and the
National Institute of Homoeopathy is a model institute for
education and medical care through Homoeopathy, he
added. He also said that there are more than 400

Mumbai: Sanjay’s direc-
tor friend Rajkumar
Hirani is making the
much-anticipated movie,
which has Ranbir
Kapoor playing the
‘Munna Bhai MBBS’
actor.
When asked if Salman
will be seen in the film,
Dutt said, “I don’t know if
Salman is in the biopic
or not, but I would wish
to have him in the film in
a cameo.”
The 56-year-old actor is
co-producing the film with Hirani. The movie’s script has
been penned by Hirani and writer Abhijat Joshi.
“Raju Hirani’s company and mine are making the biopic
on me together. I haven’t heared the script yet but I hope
it will be good,” the actor said at the red carpet of Femina
Miss India Finale 2016 here.
Sunnytoturnproducerforhernextdrama-thrillerMumbai: Bollywood sensation Sunny
Leone has revealed plans to produce a
film which will be a drama-thriller. She will
be acting in the film as well, which is yet
to be titled.
The Mastizaade actress will also star in
the untitled project, which will be a drama-
thriller. “We plan to shoot hopefully in
July-August sometime this year. It will be
in the drama-thriller space and we will test
the waters that way. Hopefully it will turn
out nice,” said Sunny.
“I’ll be starring in it, because that will be
the best idea. Rest of the details are still
being worked out,” she said. Leone, who
had also shown keen interest in produc-
ing a superhero movie, said the project is
in the pipeline.
“The superhero movie is in the pipeline.
We are going to shoot this movie (drama-
thriller) before we get into the superhero
space,” she said.
“I believe if we as a production house
release something which is more I don’t
know want to say ‘normal’ but on a differ-
ent level of story, then we can get a good
idea if we can accomplish a superhero
movie. Because that will take a good one-
and-a-half years of planning,” she said.

The Kerala state government
has ordered a judicial inquiry
into a fireworks display that
went wrong at a South India
temple killing at least 110
people and injuring more
than 350 early Sunday.
The fire broke out around 3
am during a fireworks display
at a ground next to the tem-
ple packed with 10,000 to
15,000 people attending a
festival. Officials told media
persons a spark during the
fireworks - for which the tem-
ple allegedly had been
denied permission - ignited a
batch of firecrackers stored in
a building near the temple,
around which people were
gathered.
The fire erupted with a huge
explosion in which the roof of
the temple was ripped off.
Prime Minister Narendra
Modi arrived in Kerala's
Kollam with a team of 15 burn
specialists, where a massive
fire at the Puttingal temple
killed over 100 people and
left hundreds injured on
Sunday.
Here are the Developments
of Fire Tragedy .
1.The fire started during the
morning hours of 3:30 am,
when people were bursting
crackers while celebrating to
welcome the annual festival
of Vishu in the Puttingal tem-
ple. Over thousand people
gathered to watch the burst-
ing of crackers and suddenly
the fire broke out.
2.As per the latest report, 110
people lost their lives and
over 350 are being injured. It
is is also known that more
than 100 are being hospi-
talised. The patients are
being taken to hospitals in
and around the Kollam dis-
trict. However, since morning
more than 20 ambulances
have been pressed into serv-
ice and they are transporting
the patients to hospitals situ-
ated 50 kilometres away from
Thiruvanathapuram.
3.Indian Navy’s dornier was
dispatched from INS Garuda
Naval Air station near Kochi.
4.IAF helicopters have
reached Trivandrum and are
ready for the task. Two Air
force helicopters have been
deputed with adequate med-
ical facilities and have been
advised to shift the injured to
the nearest hospital. 200 per-
sonnel of NDRF personnel
have been told to be ready
for the emergency services.
Also 2 AN32 aircrafts will take
two NDRF teams from
Arakkonam.
5.Prime Minister Narendra
Modi is monitoring the situa-
tion by himself and will be
arriving in the temple soon,
along with a team of experts
doctors. Condoling the death
Modi tweeted, “Fire at temple
in Kollam is heart-rending &
shocking beyond words. My
thoughts are with families of
the deceased & prayers with
the injured.”
6. Prime Minister has also
announced that an ex-gratia
of Rs 2 lakh will be given to
victim’s kin who lost their
near ones, while Rs 50,000
has been announced for the
injured people. He is also in
touch with Kerala Chief
Minister Oommen Chandy
and keeping a tab on the
updates.
7.PM asks Kerala govt to
'suspend protocol', CM won't
have to receive him.
8.Navy and Air Force have
dispatched 6 choppers, one
Dornier aircraft
9.Over 100 died, 350 injured
in massive fire at Puttingal
Temple in Kollam.
10.Ommen Chandy has said
that the state has denied the
permission for bursting crack-
ers near the premises and
also no permission was
granted by the district author-
ities too.
11.Congress vice president
Rahul Gandhi has also con-
doled the death of people
and visited Kollam district to
meet the injured at around
4:30 pm. BJP president Amit
Shah has already visited the
victims in Trivandrum hospital
and is scheduled to depart for
Kollam.
12.Additional team of para-
medics and doctors have
been sent for nearby state
Karnataka for the relief of vic-
tims and doctors from private
medical colleges too have
been asked to help in this
tough times.
13.Ommen Chandy has
ordered a probe into the inci-
dent and has told the author-
ities to take strict action
against the culprits.

too have been advised to
take all the preventive meas-
ures and help the needy in
the best possible way, with-
out creating any politics over
the incident.
