Hector ramosThe sequence of fulfillment of these yoga-related Pali Canons, in any case, is misty, much the same as antiquated Hindu texts.Early known Buddhist sources like the Majjhima Nikāya specify contemplation, while the Anguttara Nikāya portrays Jhāyins (meditators) that take after early Hindu portrayals of Muni, Kesins and ruminating religious austerity, however these reflection rehearses are not called yoga in these texts.
"Balancing Life: The Crucial Role of Yoga in Well-being"bhaskarsharma2901
Explore the vital role of yoga in fostering physical well-being, mental clarity, and emotional balance. This concise overview highlights the transformative power of yoga, offering valuable insights for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. Embrace the importance of integrating yoga into daily life for a healthier and more harmonious existence.
This study sheet by Ammaji Yogacharini Meenakshi Devi Bhavanani, reminds us of the main aspects of the traditional Eight Classical Pranayamas mentioned in time honored classical texts like the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and the Gherandha Samhita. However these Pranayamas are considered by the Rishi Culture Ashtanga Yoga Tradition of Dr. Swami Gitananda to be relatively advanced practices, which should be taught only after basic training in proper breathing is given. Yoga practitioners outside the traditional tutelage of the Gurukula often ignore the step by step practice of Pranayama as its import is little understood or appreciated. Swami Gitananda Guru Maharaja said, “God breathed the Breath of Life into man and he became a living soul.” He went on to say, “We must deepen it, lengthen it, control it, expand it and become conscious of it and its potentiality to link us with our Highest Nature.” In addition to over 375 Asanas, Kriyas, Mudras, Bandhas and cleansing practices more than 120 Pranayamas are taught in this tradition, designed to cleanse, purify, strengthen and sensitize the body, emotions and mind, making the human being a fit vehicle of the Divine Spirit.

History of Yoga:
The history of yoga in India is rich and ancient, with roots dating back thousands of years. Yoga is a spiritual, mental, and physical discipline that originated in ancient India and has since spread across the world. It encompasses various practices, including physical postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), meditation, and ethical principles.
The origins of yoga can be traced back to the Indus Valley Civilization, which existed around 3000 BCE. Archaeological excavations have unearthed seals and artifacts depicting figures in yoga-like postures, suggesting that early forms of yoga were practiced during this time. Moreover, it is said that Yoga was developed as a part of the Tantric Civilisation which existed in India and all parts of the world more than 10000 years ago. In archeological excavations made in the Indus Valley and Harappa and Mahenjodaro, now in Pakistan many statues have been found depicting the deities resembling Lord Shiva and Parvati performing various Asanas and practising meditation. These ruins were once the dwelling place of people who lived in the pre-vedic age before the Aryan civilisation started to flourish tradition. Shiva is said to be the founder of Yoga and Parvati, is his first disciple. Moreover, if we look back to Bhagwat Gita, Lord Krishna said "He taught the original Yoga first to Vivasvan, the Sun God, who passed it on to Manu, the primal human sage, who is called the son of the Sun. Krishna states: I taught this imperishable Yoga to Vivasvan (the Sun God). Vivasvan taught it to Manu (the first king and law giver).
The earliest written records of yoga are found in the ancient Indian scriptures known as the Vedas, which were written between 1500 and 500 BCE. The Vedas contain hymns, rituals, and philosophical teachings, including references to yogic practices. The Upanishads, which are philosophical texts associated with the Vedas, further elaborate on the spiritual aspects of yoga and its connection to self-realization and liberation.
Yoga is a physical,Mental, and spiritual practice or discipline that express a variety of practices and goals. Yoga is a technique to control the body, weight loss boost the mind as well.

Conny Mametja as per Pāṇini, the term yoga can be gotten from both of two roots, yujir yoga (to burden) or yuj samādhau ("to focus"). With regards to the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the root yuj samādhau (to focus) is considered by conventional reporters as the right historical background. As per Pāṇini, Vyasa who composed the primary discourse on the Yoga Sutras, states that yoga implies samādhcus).

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

in the West in the 20th century. Hatha yoga
texts emerged around the 11th century with

4. The ultimate goal of Yoga is moksha (liberation), although

spirit. Its epistemology (pramanas) is same as the Samkhya school. Both accept
three reliable means to knowledge – perception (pratyākṣa, direct sensory
observations), inference (anumāna) and testimony of trustworthy experts (sabda,
agama). Both these orthodox schools are also strongly dualistic.
