Sandy Hook Theory
Robbie Parker, accused of being a crisis actor, also broke down on camera while speaking at a press
conference. Also, Gene Rosen cried on camera while explaining his story (Stuart). The theorists can
make many claims, but they do not all hold true. To continue with Crisis Actors, theorists point out
family s reactions to their children s death that day. Emilie Parker, one of the twenty children killed at
Sandy Hook, has people questioning if she actually passed away that day. Theorists say that her father,
Robbie Parker, is seen getting into character before a press conference, which leads them to believe
that he is an actor or playing the role of a grieving father (Hallowell). Before he got up to speak at the
conference, he was supposedly laughing and smiling. Soon after he looked like he took a moment to
compose himself and then let emotion over take himself. In a hoax video, when the clip is played of
Robbie Parker doing this a line runs along the bottom of the video and reads, How many parents are
laughing and joking a day after their first child has been shot? (Hallowell). The Theorists also brought
Barack Obama into one of their lies. In pre shooting photograph, Emilie is pictured wearing a
flowered red and black dress. After the Sandy Hook shooting there is a picture of Emilie and Barack
Obama taken during Obama s visit with the families of Sandy Hook. In the picture with Obama the
girl is wearing the same dress. It has been suggested that the girl in

Parents In Finding Nemo
In Finding Nemo, the two characters the movie is about are very special. In a way, I can connect with
the character Nemo because our parents are similar. Marlin, Nemo s dad, is overprotective and doesn t
want to let his son go. Marlin has good reason to want to be overprotective as well though,
considering the tragic loss he went through at the beginning of the movie, losing his wife and all of his
kids except for one. I understand why Nemo is so upset about his dad not letting him do anything
because my parents have been stricter with me than some parents I know. I used to have a fairly early
curfew and they weren t ready to let me go completely. My mom is especially like this because when
she was younger both of her parents were kind of disconnected

Three Separate Categories
Question #1 Hazards can be characterized in to three separate categories: physical, chemical, and
natural. Physical Hazards Physical hazards are those that pose a threat to human physical well being.
Examples of these hazards are: fire, explosion, noise, slips, falls, release of hazardous energy,
entrapment, heat, and cold (Haight, 2012, p. 60). Chemical Hazards Chemical hazards pose an
external or internal physiological threat to one or more parts of the human body. This hazard can cause
both short/long term health and physical effects depending on route of entry, toxicity, amount and
duration of exposure (Haight, 2012, p. 60). Natural Hazards Natural hazards are those found in nature
and that affect such living things as animals

Choose not to be harmed and you won t feel harmed. Don t feel harmed and you haven t been
(Meditations, Book 4)
Meditations is a collection of writings consisting of 12 books written by Marc Aurelius in the course
of his life in which by reminding himself he reminds us to be human, to practice empathy, humility,
kindness and to realize that time is short in this world and we should make the best of it.
While reading the book, we discover an emperor who was a simple man and who did put great
importance on his royal status. Instead, he was a man of plain tastes which shows him as being
humble and wise. The theme of the book is mainly focused on the nature of man and his place in the
universe. Marc Aurelius argues that everything comes into existence from nature and when things
complete their destined time they return back to nature. Marcus also focuses on the ... Show more

In Marc Aurelius s view, a person who can see the world objectively also has the ability to have a
more profound understanding of the world. Life can be lonely and sad, but this should never stop us
from wondering at our existence in the universe:
The Meditations opens with Marcus Aurelius s giving thanks to the people who shaped his personality
into what he is. He thanks his grandfather for teaching him to have good morals and be even
tempered; his father for teaching him to be modest, humble and have a manly character ; his mother
for teaching him to be non materialistic; and his teachers who taught him the value of hard work, self
discipline, tolerance and rationality. From his mentors he also learned to love practical philosophy,
instead of metaphysics and the vanity of the Sophists. He also thanks his wife for being

Essay The Two-Second Judgment
We have been taught to stop and carefully consider all the options/factors involved before making an
important decision. But in Blink, Malcolm Gladwell finds that in complex situations, our initial two
second judgments, our blink moments, are often more accurate than judgments derived from lengthy,
painstaking analysis. Although Gladwell is careful to explore situations where two second judgments
fail, the most interesting scenarios are where rapid cognition succeeds. It contradicts reason to think
that a two second judgment could be more accurate than a carefully made analysis, but in many cases
it is. In an attempt to persuade the readers mind about the importance of this blink moment, Gladwell
tries to use the Greek philosopher ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, the reader learns, our brain sifts through the situation in front of us, throwing out all that is
irrelevant and zeroes in on what really matters, and allows us to act on this through our gut reaction.
Gladwell has some interesting evidence to back up his claim. In Blink, he begins with a story about an
ancient Greek statute known as kouros that was offered to the Gerry Museum, LA. Relying on
thorough scientific analysis, the curators of the museum believed the statue to be genuine and bought
it for a huge sum of $ 10 million. But other art historians, upon first viewing the statue, instantly
thought that it was fabricated. The former director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art said his first
reaction was fresh as in, too fresh looking to be so old. A Greek archaeologist saw the statue and
immediately felt cold. According to Gladwell, those experts intuitions proved correct, and the initial
scientific tests that authenticated the statue turned out to have been faulty.
With the kouros forgery, Gladwell immediately tries to persuade the reader from the beginning of the
book by launching his case for the surprising power of intuitive snap. As he puts it, there can be as
much value in the blink of an eye as in months of rational analysis. Nevertheless, cases in which
forgeries that intuitively appear legitimate but later are discovered through expert analysis to be frauds
are fairly common in the art world. Numerous paintings of master forger

Thematic Similarities in Fun Home by Alison Bechdel and...
In Fun Home, Alison s dynamic with her father is damaged to a certain extent and she finds inspiration
in how she wants to not make her life the way that she grew up. Just like Alison, Sara in The Bread
Givers, finds inspiration in the dynamic with her own father because she wants to have a life of her
own choosing, but she thinks so highly of father and his love for books and knowledge. These two
girls both look up to their fathers to a certain extent but at the same time they each find resentment in
the culture norms that their fathers push towards on them. Both Alison and Sara are damaged by their
fathers dynamic within the family but they both find inspiration to not get overshadowed by who their
fathers are and want they may want for them but a life of their very own.
Sara faces a number of serious hindrances on her way to making a life of her own. One of them is her
father, who she looks up to and starts to resent later on in life. Her father, Red Smolinsky wants his all
daughters to fulfill their gender roles: maintain the household, take care of children, cook, etc.
Women, in his opinion, do not exist without men and their own function is to serve men in all senses
sexual, psychological and spiritual. Red Smolinsky represents the Old World with its conservative
view on the womanhood. She also starts to hate her father when she understands the ways he has
denied his daughters, her older sisters, lives of their own. Sara tries to resist this new world and her

The Nature Of God
Nature of the universe is that God has created life in his image. For God is the embodiment of
perfection, the ultimate form of things. Now the maximum in any genus is the cause of all in that
genus; as fire, which is the maximum heat, is the cause of all hot things. Therefore there must also be
something which is to all beings the cause of their being, goodness, and every other perfection; and
this we call God. The foundation of Aquinas work relies on showcasing evidence on the existence of
God. He explains that God has laid the foundation for life and gave people wisdom. As a wise
architect, I have laid the foundation (1 Cor. 3:10). Again, in the order of all human life, the prudent
man is called wise, inasmuch as he directs his acts to a fitting end: Wisdom is prudence to a man
(Prov. 10: 23). Therefore he who considers absolutely the highest cause of the whole universe, namely
God, is most of all called wise... Hence sacred doctrine is especially called wisdom. People have what
they have due to the actions of God; life exists because it was created by God.
The nature of man is to learn about ourselves and the world; we do so by having reason. People have
reason which holds our hopes, determination, and conscious. Naturally people seek knowledge to
fulfill our needs. The method of doing so is using our senses to gather information. So in relation with
people using senses to acquire this information, the bible was written for people to gather truths about

How Logical is the Essay
Regarding to the essay question Is Hell exothermic or endothermic, though the answer that the student
gave was not exactly logical per se, but was certainly well deserved for the grade that he got due to his
creative and innovative way of thinking.
First, the question itself was based on the premise that Hell does exist, which we know most of the
scientists do not agree, as well as the existence of Heaven and God/gods. And since Hell is not to be
found in a place where we can probe, and no one has ever been there and came back, nobody can tell
for sure how does Hell functions . Thus we know that the intension of this question was not actually to

Space Debris
People were looking up at the night sky and dreaming about flying to the stars for over thousands of
years. Myths and legends of many nations of the world are full of stories about the journeys to the
Moon and the Sun. Currently, manned space crafts and space stations have become almost
commonplace in everyday life. Space exploration is undoubtedly essential and necessary stage of the
progress of human civilization, but it entailed all the negative aspects of anthropogenic activities. The
atomic age polluted the huge space of the Earth, which requires billions of dollars for a cleanup. Now,
it turned out that near Earth space became littered as well. However, it is much more difficult and

In 1983, a smack particle hit the porthole of the space shuttle Challenger (Nelson 2014). It did not
break through but left a noticeable imprint. After landing, craft specialists thoroughly inspected the
damage and concluded that it was a chip of paint, which peeled off some other spacecraft. In general,
the United States has the richest history of similar cases. One of the most famous incidents occurred
with the Atlantis shuttle in 2006 when a small particle of debris pierced the radiator panel, one wall of
the cargo hold, and ultimately stuck in the opposite one (Young 2006). The following year, the
Endeavour shuttle got a hole of few inches in its hull. Another debris of 0.4 inches in diameter
punctured the Hubble Space Telescope array (Pelton 2013). At the same time, other countries suffer
from this problem as well and even worse. For example, the Russian communications satellite Express

How Did Women s Fashion Change In The 1800s
Women s Fashion Changes, in the 1800s Imagine it was 1860 and the latest outfit just came out! Now
I know it probably would not matter to you now if just one outfit came out cause millions of new
clothes came out everyday but back then even if they came out with a new fabric pattern it was huge.
Yes it was the Victorian era. Women s fashion in the 1800s saw the biggest change(Lucid Crew). From
the hats to the shoes, from their sports wear to house wear. Or even if you have ever wonder where we
got this idea, although some people may not have but we stole it from others, yes we may have
improved on it but those people had it all figured out before we did. It took that history and made it
help form the clothes today. Everyone owes thanks to those people. Then, black was the new black,
Luxe labels came, there was name calling and fashion was flourishing. These modern day obsessions
with black and big name labels are nothing new. People should not think that they started these trends
but think way back then (Lucid Crew). Women s fashion in the 1800 s saw the biggest change because
of it s great development in it s dressage timeline. The reason why this fashion timeline developed so
much was because of all the new ideas of machines, fabrics, colors, and the people that created all of

What Is The Role Of Slave Women In Slave Society
In the harsh reality of the slave society, slave women were not in control of what was happening to
them. Often a slave master would take a slave and have his way with them, raping them at will with
no regards to feeling or moral standards. This benefited the slave owners in two ways. First, he was
able to satisfy his selfish desires with physical pleasure, and secondly, he could turn a profit soon after
the baby arrived.[2] Frederick Douglass first realized experienced the horrors of slavery being a slave
when his Aunt Hester disobeyed her master by going out when she was not supposed to. when he
desired her to be present but she was out. Previously, her master told her not to go out but she did and
was in the company of another man. Although Frederick Douglass was hiding he watched his aunt

How Is Cimorene Justified In Dealing With Dragons
In the story, Dealing With Dragons, Patricia Wrede tells the tale of an improper princess who ignores
the social norms of her day. In the fictional story set in Medieval times, a princess takes advice from a
frog to run away and her journey has many adventures in it. Cimorene is justified in ignoring expected
social norms of the day because it benefitted her life but some people may disagree. First, Cimorene is
justified in ignoring expected social norms of the day. All in all, Linderwall was a very prosperous and
pleasant place, Cimorene hated it. (Wrede,1). This is important because Cimorene wants to be normal
and not treated so royal. This also is important because it is the beginning of how she thinks about
running away. Boring, I want to do things, not sit around all day and listen to the court minstrel make
up songs about how brave Daddy is and how lovely his wife and daughters are. (Wrede, 5). This
shows that Cimorene wants freedom and fun. She is the type of princess who likes to explore, so
living with dragons could be a change. Overall, Cimorene would be better living a happier life outside
of Linderwall. When she ignores her duty of being a proper princess it is shown she is justified

Gay Marriage Should Be Legal
A gay couple from Indianapolis who have waited to marry for years have been quoted as saying: We
re positive because the mindset in this nation seems to be that it is unconstitutional to say that our
marriages are different from any other marriage. (pro con,1) This means that gay people are staying
optimistic. Prohibiting gay marriage is considered discrimination to gays because the government is
not giving homosexual couples the same rights as gay heterosexuals, which is also unconstitutional.
Therefore, same sex couples should have access to the same marriage benefits and public
acknowledgment enjoyed by heterosexual couples. (pro con,1)
Opponents believe that same sex marriage is not right and you should be ashamed to be that way.
While proponents say same homosexual couples should be able to publicly celebrate their
commitment in the same way as heterosexual couples do. (pro con,1) Many gay and lesbian couples
want to marry because they are in love! Just because someone loves the same sex, does not mean they
are different or love any different then heterosexuals. In fact, the Family Research Council shows
statistics that gay and lesbians couples are proven to last longer and that they are much happier then

Why I Want For My Live Negotiation Paper
When it comes to conflicts and negotiations I have always been the type of person to avoid them. The
reasons I avoided them was because I did not know how to handle these situations properly. When it
came to conflicts or negotiations, I would have no medium. Either I would be calm during those
conflicts or I would get really mad. Those two options were not good for me or good for the people I
was trying to resolve conflicts with. After taking this course I learned that I have the avoiding style in
the TKI assessment. This assessment has helped me with strategies I could use in the avoiding style,
and has also taught me how to use different strategies from various different styles. For my live
negotiation paper I choose to negotiate a topic with my boyfriend that is very true and dear to my
heart. He is a lawyer and it is really hard to negotiate with him. We have had various conversations
about having a baby. However, we continue to argue about whether I should lose twenty pounds or
not. I have tried to express different reasons as to why I shouldn t have to lose the weight, but my
ideas and concerns got pushed aside all the time. I would eventually go into my avoiding style and just
stop talking or give up on the topic. I d get angry because I felt like I wasn t being heard. I had even
tried some tactics in the competing style, although I had not known what that was until I took this
course, but in the end I think that I was using them wrong. The conflict that I have is

Wasco Oil Synthesis Essay
The Wasco oil field produces mainly from the Oligocene Vedder Formation and Eocene sandstones
within the Kreyenhagen Formation in the San Joaquin basin, California. The Vedder and Kreyenhagen
sandstones in the Wasco oil field consist of fine to coarse grain, very poor to well sorted, angular to
sub round, arkosic arenites. Porosity development in these deeply buried sandstones was significantly
affected by compaction, dissolution of framework grains, and precipitation of authigenic minerals.
These diagenetic processes controlled the quality of the Vedder and Kreyenhagen sandstone
reservoirs. The data and interpretation for this study were based upon a detailed petrographic
examination of sixty (60) thin sections prepared from the core samples of the Kreyenhagen and
Vedder sands from Mushrush wells 1, 2, and 5 of the Wasco oil field, California, and supplemented by
textural and chemical analyses of twelve thin sections obtained using the scanning electron
microscope (SEM) equipped with an energy dispersive x ray spectrophotometer (EDS). The thin
sections were studied to establish the mineralogical, compositional, and textural properties of the
Vedder and Kreyenhagen sandstones. The data collected were used to determine the diagenetic
paragenesis including porosity development of the Vedder and Kreyenhagen sandstones of the Wasco
oil field.

Wilfred Owen, War Poems and Others How does Wilfred Owen explore the horror of war through the
power of poetry? Throughout the several poems Wilfred Owen wrote throughout his experience
during the First World War, he explores many themes in relation to the war and the emotions
associated with these. One of the most prevalent ideas Wilfred Owen chooses to emphasise in many of
his poems is that of the sense of horror associated with war and all the consequences of it such as
those including death, disability, pain and gore and this emphasis can be clearly seen in 2 of Wilfred

The Need for a Revival of American Infrastructure
America made a multibillion dollar investment when the Federal Highway Act of 1956 was signed
into law by Dwight Eisenhower. This was a milestone for America, connecting the nation like it had
never been before. Since this time, however, the United States has done very little in terms of
infrastructure investment. Currently, the American Society of Civil Engineers ranks America s
infrastructure as a D + (2013). American no longer leads the world in the best roads, airports, rail, or
bridges. This is a serious problem that will lead to security, environmental, economic, and political
issues if not addressed fully and swiftly. America needs to act promptly to revive the nation s
infrastructure system before additional nations surpass the US while the cost becomes too big to bear.
The Interstate System that was created under the Federal Highway Act of 1956 cost 128.9 billion
dollars and currently spans 46,876 miles long (Federal Highway Administration). This system links
the North to the South and the East Coast to the West Coast. Today, America does not spend nearly the
amount of time nor attention to the betterment of the nation s infrastructure. For the last four year, the
American Society of Civil Engineers, or ASCE for short, has ranked America s system in the D range
(NPR 2013). President of the society, Gregory DiLoreto, stated that:
We waste hours sitting in traffic; power outages become more frequent; we lose billions of gallons of

A Brief Note On The Income Measurement And Revenue...
Income Measurement/Revenue Recognition A. IAS 18 Relationship A customer walks into her local

Observation Of A Child Study Center
Upon entering the Child Study Center, I was nervous at how the children would react to me, and if the
children would want to interact with me. I went during the afternoon for each of my visits so
unfortunately, I was only able to interact the fours. On my first day, Oct 9, 2017, I walked into the
room where the activity centers were and observed how the children were interacting with the centers
they were at and the children they were playing with.
After, walking around and observing the children, one of the boys from the Lego center began to show
me what he was building and then informed me that it was okay to come sit with him and the other
boy he was with, to watch them play. I watched them play and build a baby police station for a couple
of minutes before one of the boys wanted to go play at the block center with me where again he
wanted to build a baby police station . I played with a few other kids before it was time to go to carpet
time, which is where the children go and do a mini lesson. The lesson was over leaves, and the
excitement the children felt when receiving their leaves was the most heart warming experience for
me.
The second time, Oct 11, 2017, I went to the Child Study Center I was greeted by one of the boys I
had played with the first time (boy A) and he wanted to play at the music center again. However,
while we were playing at the music center there was another boy (boy B) playing with us. Boy A

Question 1: Consumer Theory 1.1: In both the Marshallian and Hicksian consumer optimisation
problems, it is assumed that consumers are supposed to be rational. The main focus of these problems
are cost minimisation and utility maximisation, which play a huge part in consumer demand, but in
real life, these are not the only problems that are considered. Also, it is assumed that every consumer s
indifference curve for two goods would be the same they are very generalised models, and do not take
into account other factors. For example, not many consumers would spend their entire budget on said
goods one thing to consider would be a consumer s marginal propensity to consume and save. Though
both of the problems provide a framework and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As the insurer doesn t know which agents are high risk or low risk, the company will not offer
different types of full insurance to match risk types, as high risk agents will prefer contracts that are
designed for low risk agents. To solve this, the insurer will offer low risk agents less insurance this
ensures that high risk types do not have the incentive to choose a contract for low risk customers, as
they will want more insurance, because they know they will need to claim more. This ensures that the
insurance company maintains non negative profit, as high risk individuals cost more to insure.
However, these solutions carry agency costs, because the result is less efficient than if symmetric
information was present. I believe that risk neutrality of an insurance company is a sufficient condition
for insurance to take place. Insurance companies are risk neutral to maximise expected profits,
therefore as the principal, will design contracts to achieve this, as well as making certain that the agent
picks the desired effort (i.e to prevent a bad state of the world) for that contract, and to make sure that
the agent even picks the contract in the first place. Making sure incentives are compatible, and
ensuring participation by the correct risk types, are constraints on maximising expected profits. If an
insurance company was risk averse, without the availability of symmetric information, they cannot

The Process Of Spatiotemporal Swarms Mining Algorithms
paragraph{Spatiotemporal Swarms Mining Algorithms}
Algorithm ref{algo:spatiotemporal} shows the process of mining short time and long time
spatiotemporal swarms. Initially, all swarms are empty indicated by Lines 3 5. Then, the trajectory
data is preprocessed to remove inconsistent and inaccurate data at Line 6 and build time to locations
matrix at Line 7. After that, infrequent pruning, row and column pruning methods have been applied
upon matrix data at Lines 8 10 and mines locations based all timestamps short time spatiotemporal

After that we will mine others swarms. The necessary steps used for mining moving objects swarms
are pointed below where we consider minimum number of objects $min_{object}$ = 2.
At first, our proposed method generates 1 length tiemstamp swarm from the given database shown in
the figure ref{example1}(b) that is called short time spatiotemporal swarms. It has been shown that
the objects in location $L_3$ at timestamps $T_1$ and location $L_4$ at timestemps $T_1, T_3,
T_5$ are removed because only one object exists in the locations which is less than the minimum
number of objects $min_{object}$. In the second step, proposed algorithm begets 2 length timestamps
candidate based on previous 1 length timestamp swarms. Figure ref{example1}(c) interprets the
objects locations based on time where objects are found by the common objects at particular times of
the generated timesets. Suppose at timeset $[T_1, T_2]$ in location $L_1$ begets objects set $left
{o_1, o_2, o_3right}$ from the common objects sets between $left{o_1, o_2, o_3, o_4right}$ and
$left{o_1, o_2, o_3right}$ at time $T_1$ an $T_2$ respectively. In this way, all the cells of are
procreated. If their is no common object, then the cell value is empty. Then, we apply four efficient
pruning techniques: (i) candidate pruning that prune those candidates which maintain the Apriori

Independent contractors win out best in sole proprietorships because they pay the basic needs, and that
s their investment, and they see the profits, while the company eats the loss. Bread vendors are a good
example of this. They make money on the bread they sell, but don t lose money on the staled bread
they return. This applies to independent contractors that serve as drivers for those companies. These
drivers supply their own trucks and insurance, they only do a delivery service and make out the orders.
The drivers are not responsible for the losses on bread not sold. They are given a percentage on bread
sold. They file their own personal taxes and are not liable for any company assets or liabilities. In
closing, decision making on which LLC to be associated with is based on size and the amount of
interest or investments in a company. Every company is different and their classification will be based
on the operations of the business and its overall needs some require different financial investments,
and the more of the financial requirement, the more of the obligation for more partners and funding,

Essay On Iroquois
There are many Iroquoian nations, including the St. Lawrence Iroquoians, the Wenero Nation, and the
Five Nations of the Huron Confederacy, but the term Iroquois only applies to the six nation
confederacy of the Mohawk, Oneida, Onandaga, Cayuga, Seneca, and the Tuscarora, who were added
to the league well after its formation in 1713. The Iroquois were settled across central New York with
the Mohawks farthest East, closer to the coast, and the Seneca farthest west. The term Iroquois is
based on a Basque term meaning killer people and while it is the commonly used academic term the
Iroquois prefer to refer the themselves as the Haudenosaunee, meaning People of the Long House . At
their peak, just prior to contact with Europeans, there were likely around 22,00 individuals in the Five
Nations of the Iroquois. The Iroquois are identified archaeologically using a collection of
characteristic traits: they grew maize, beans, and squash (referred to as the three sisters) using swidden

The earliest evidence of Iroquois settlement in the archaeological record dates around A.D. 1000, but
there has been extensive debate about the origins of the Iroquois in central New York; the two major
perspectives being that either the Iroquois developed from historical groups that lived in the area,
referred to as the in situ hypothesis, or that they migrated from elsewhere and settled the area,
displacing the previous residents, called the incursion hypothesis (Hart 2001:153; Snow 1995:60).
Various versions of the in situ hypothesis have prevailed since posited by MacNeish in 1953,
suggesting that northern Iroquoians evolved in central New York from groups present in the area for at
least 1500 years, referred to as the Owasco, and that

Pinochet Gender
Under the reign of Augusto Pinochet, Chile suffered extreme oppression culturally, socially,
politically, economically, and religiously. As a dictator in a military government, Pinochet shut down
the Chilean government, stifled political discourse, banned trade unions, and made Chile his own.
Over 3,000 political opponents disappeared during his rule, and the Chilean over arrested over 30,000,
torturing thousands. In response to the suffocating reign of Pinochet, Chilean citizens began to express
their culture and their identities through performance art and other means. Among these identities
being explored and expressed were those of gender: male, female, and other. Gender and gender
identity played significant roles during the reign of Pinochet through both theory and social change.
Under an oppressive government, it is often women and minorities, including homosexuals, that suffer
most. Thus, it is most likely that those who are suffering will speak out. The unforgettable queen and

Parathyroid Glam Research Paper
Overview and Functions of the Parathyroid Glam
Parathyroid glands: Essentials
Parathyroid hormone regulates the body s calcium levels. They are four small glands that are about the
size of a grain of rice and are intended to secrete parathyroid hormone to regulate the level of calcium
in our bodies.
The parathyroid helps the nervous and muscular systems work properly. Calcium is the primary
element that causes the muscles to contract. Calcium levels are vitally important for the normal
conduction of electrical currents along the nerves.
Anatomy of the parathyroid glands
The four parathyroid are usually found in the back of the thyroid but anatomically, they have no
related function. The thyroid gland regulates the body s metabolism and the parathyroid glands
regulate calcium levels and have no effect on metabolism. the four parathyroid travel from the head
area down to the lower neck. A calcium balance will benefit the heart, the kidneys, the nervous
system, and the bones. Low calcium levels can lead to heart, bone, and neural disease. ... Show more

Also, Gene Rosen cried on camera while explaining his story (Stuart). The theorists can make many claims, but they do not all hold true. To continue with Crisis Actors, theorists point out family s reactions to their children s death that day. Emilie Parker, one of the twenty children killed at Sandy Hook, has people questioning if she actually passed away that day. Theorists say that her father, Robbie Parker, is seen getting into character before a press conference, which leads them to believe that he is an actor or playing the role of a grieving father (Hallowell). Before he got up to speak at the conference, he was supposedly laughing and smiling. Soon after he looked like he took a moment to compose himself and then let emotion over take himself. In a hoax video, when the clip is played of Robbie Parker doing this a line runs along the bottom of the video and reads, How many parents are laughing and joking a day after their first child has been shot? (Hallowell). The Theorists also brought Barack Obama into one of their lies. In pre shooting photograph, Emilie is pictured wearing a flowered red and black dress. While reading the book, we discover an emperor who was a simple man and who did put great importance on his royal status. Instead, he was a man of plain tastes which shows him as being humble and wise. The theme of the book is mainly focused on the nature of man and his place in the universe. But in Blink, Malcolm Gladwell finds that in complex situations, our initial two second judgments, our blink moments, are often more accurate than judgments derived from lengthy, painstaking analysis. Although Gladwell is careful to explore situations where two second judgments fail, the most interesting scenarios are where rapid cognition succeeds. It contradicts reason to think that a two second judgment could be more accurate than a carefully made analysis, but in many cases it is. However, the reader learns, our brain sifts through the situation in front of us, throwing out all that is irrelevant and zeroes in on what really matters, and allows us to act on this through our gut reaction. Gladwell has some interesting evidence to back up his claim. In Blink, he begins with a story about an ancient Greek statute known as kouros that was offered to the Gerry Museum, LA. Relying on thorough scientific analysis, the curators of the museum believed the statue to be genuine and bought it for a huge sum of $ 10 million. But other art historians, upon first viewing the statue, instantly thought that it was fabricated. The former director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art said his first reaction was fresh as in, too fresh looking to be so old. A Greek archaeologist saw the statue and immediately felt cold. According to Gladwell, those experts intuitions proved correct, and the initial scientific tests that authenticated the statue turned out to have been faulty. With the kouros forgery, Gladwell immediately tries to persuade the reader from the beginning of the book by launching his case for the surprising power of intuitive snap. As he puts it, there can be as much value in the blink of an eye as in months of rational analysis. Nevertheless, cases in which forgeries that intuitively appear legitimate but later are discovered through expert analysis to be frauds are fairly common in the art world. The Nature OfGod Nature of the universe is that God has created life in his image. For God is the embodiment of perfection, the ultimate form of things. Now the maximum in any genus is the cause of all in that genus; as fire, which is the maximum heat, is the cause of all hot things. Therefore there must also be something which is to all beings the cause of their being, goodness, and every other perfection; and this we call God. The foundation of Aquinas work relies on showcasing evidence on the existence of God. He explains that God has laid the foundation for life and gave people wisdom. As a wise architect, I have laid the foundation (1 Cor. 3:10). Again, in the order of all human life, the prudent man is called wise, inasmuch as he directs his acts to a fitting end: Wisdom is prudence to a man (Prov. 10: 23). Therefore he who considers absolutely the highest cause of the whole universe, namely God, is most of all called wise... Hence sacred doctrine is especially called wisdom. People have what they have due to the actions of God; life exists because it was created by God. The nature of man is to learn about ourselves and the world; we do so by having reason. People have reason which holds our hopes, determination, and conscious. Naturally people seek knowledge to fulfill our needs. The method of doing so is using our senses to gather information. So in relation with people using senses to acquire this information, the bible was written for people to gather truths about divine ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Is Hell ExothermicEssay How Logical is the Essay Regarding to the essay question Is Hell exothermic or endothermic, though the answer that the student gave was not exactly logical per se, but was certainly well deserved for the grade that he got due to his creative and innovative way of thinking. First, the question itself was based on the premise that Hell does exist, which we know most of the scientists do not agree, as well as the existence of Heaven and God/gods. And since Hell is not to be found in a place where we can probe, and no one has ever been there and came back, nobody can tell for sure how does Hell functions . Thus we know that the intension of this question was not actually to find the answer of the operation of Hell, but to test on how the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Space Debris ResearchPaper Space Debris People were looking up at the night sky and dreaming about flying to the stars for over thousands of years. Myths and legends of many nations of the world are full of stories about the journeys to the Moon and the Sun. Currently, manned space crafts and space stations have become almost commonplace in everyday life. Space exploration is undoubtedly essential and necessary stage of the progress of human civilization, but it entailed all the negative aspects of anthropogenic activities. The atomic age polluted the huge space of the Earth, which requires billions of dollars for a cleanup. Now, it turned out that near Earth space became littered as well. However, it is much more difficult and expensive to clean it up. Space debris ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In 1983, a smack particle hit the porthole of the space shuttle Challenger (Nelson 2014). It did not break through but left a noticeable imprint. After landing, craft specialists thoroughly inspected the damage and concluded that it was a chip of paint, which peeled off some other spacecraft. In general, the United States has the richest history of similar cases. One of the most famous incidents occurred with the Atlantis shuttle in 2006 when a small particle of debris pierced the radiator panel, one wall of the cargo hold, and ultimately stuck in the opposite one (Young 2006). The following year, the Endeavour shuttle got a hole of few inches in its hull. Another debris of 0.4 inches in diameter punctured the Hubble Space Telescope array (Pelton 2013). At the same time, other countries suffer from this problem as well and even worse. How Did Womens Fashion Change In The 1800s Women s Fashion Changes, in the 1800s Imagine it was 1860 and the latest outfit just came out! Now I know it probably would not matter to you now if just one outfit came out cause millions of new clothes came out everyday but back then even if they came out with a new fabric pattern it was huge. Yes it was the Victorian era. Women s fashion in the 1800s saw the biggest change(Lucid Crew). From the hats to the shoes, from their sports wear to house wear. Or even if you have ever wonder where we got this idea, although some people may not have but we stole it from others, yes we may have improved on it but those people had it all figured out before we did. It took that history and made it help form the clothes today. Everyone owes thanks to those people. Then, black was the new black, Luxe labels came, there was name calling and fashion was flourishing. These modern day obsessions with black and big name labels are nothing new. People should not think that they started these trends but think way back then (Lucid Crew). Women s fashion in the 1800 s saw the biggest change because of it s great development in it s dressage timeline. What Is TheRole Of Slave Women In Slave Society In the harsh reality of the slave society, slave women were not in control of what was happening to them. Often a slave master would take a slave and have his way with them, raping them at will with no regards to feeling or moral standards. This benefited the slave owners in two ways. First, he was able to satisfy his selfish desires with physical pleasure, and secondly, he could turn a profit soon after the baby arrived.[2] Frederick Douglass first realized experienced the horrors of slavery being a slave when his Aunt Hester disobeyed her master by going out when she was not supposed to. when he desired her to be present but she was out. Previously, her master told her not to go out but she did and was in the company of another man. How Is CimoreneJustified In Dealing With Dragons In the story, Dealing With Dragons, Patricia Wrede tells the tale of an improper princess who ignores the social norms of her day. In the fictional story set in Medieval times, a princess takes advice from a frog to run away and her journey has many adventures in it. Cimorene is justified in ignoring expected social norms of the day because it benefitted her life but some people may disagree. First, Cimorene is justified in ignoring expected social norms of the day. All in all, Linderwall was a very prosperous and pleasant place, Cimorene hated it. (Wrede,1). This is important because Cimorene wants to be normal and not treated so royal. This also is important because it is the beginning of how she thinks about running away. Boring, I want to do things, not sit around all day and listen to the court minstrel make up songs about how brave Daddy is and how lovely his wife and daughters are. (Wrede, 5). This shows that Cimorene wants freedom and fun. She is the type of princess who likes to explore, so living with dragons could be a change. Overall, Cimorene would be better living a happier life outside of Linderwall. When she ignores her duty of being a proper princess it is shown she is justified because a princess does the ... Gay Marriage ShouldBe Legal A gay couple from Indianapolis who have waited to marry for years have been quoted as saying: We re positive because the mindset in this nation seems to be that it is unconstitutional to say that our marriages are different from any other marriage. (pro con,1) This means that gay people are staying optimistic. Prohibiting gay marriage is considered discrimination to gays because the government is not giving homosexual couples the same rights as gay heterosexuals, which is also unconstitutional. Therefore, same sex couples should have access to the same marriage benefits and public acknowledgment enjoyed by heterosexual couples. Wasco Oil SynthesisEssay The Wasco oil field produces mainly from the Oligocene Vedder Formation and Eocene sandstones within the Kreyenhagen Formation in the San Joaquin basin, California. The Vedder and Kreyenhagen sandstones in the Wasco oil field consist of fine to coarse grain, very poor to well sorted, angular to sub round, arkosic arenites. Porosity development in these deeply buried sandstones was significantly affected by compaction, dissolution of framework grains, and precipitation of authigenic minerals. These diagenetic processes controlled the quality of the Vedder and Kreyenhagen sandstone reservoirs. The data and interpretation for this study were based upon a detailed petrographic examination of sixty (60) thin sections prepared from the core samples of the Kreyenhagen and Vedder sands from Mushrush wells 1, 2, and 5 of the Wasco oil field, California, and supplemented by textural and chemical analyses of twelve thin sections obtained using the scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with an energy dispersive x ray spectrophotometer (EDS). The thin sections were studied to establish the mineralogical, compositional, and textural properties of the Vedder and Kreyenhagen sandstones. The data collected were used to determine the diagenetic paragenesis including porosity development of the Vedder and Kreyenhagen sandstones of the Wasco oil field. ... Throughout the several poems Wilfred Owen wrote throughout his experience during the First World War, he explores many themes in relation to the war and the emotions associated with these. One of the most prevalent ideas Wilfred Owen chooses to emphasise in many of his poems is that of the sense of horror associated with war and all the consequences of it such as those including death, disability, pain and gore and this emphasis can be clearly seen in 2 of Wilfred Owens most famous poems: Dulce Et Decorum Est and Mental Cases. The Need fora Revival of American Infrastructure America made a multibillion dollar investment when the Federal Highway Act of 1956 was signed into law by Dwight Eisenhower. This was a milestone for America, connecting the nation like it had never been before. Since this time, however, the United States has done very little in terms of infrastructure investment. Currently, the American Society of Civil Engineers ranks America s infrastructure as a D + (2013). American no longer leads the world in the best roads, airports, rail, or bridges. This is a serious problem that will lead to security, environmental, economic, and political issues if not addressed fully and swiftly. America needs to act promptly to revive the nation s infrastructure system before additional nations surpass the US while the cost becomes too big to bear. The Interstate System that was created under the Federal Highway Act of 1956 cost 128.9 billion dollars and currently spans 46,876 miles long (Federal Highway Administration). This system links the North to the South and the East Coast to the West Coast. Today, America does not spend nearly the amount of time nor attention to the betterment of the nation s infrastructure. For the last four year, the American Society of Civil Engineers, or ASCE for short, has ranked America s system in the D range (NPR 2013). A Brief NoteOn The Income Measurement And Revenue... Income Measurement/Revenue Recognition A. IAS 18 Relationship A customer walks into her local Wal Mart Supercenter to purchase a few necessities and Christmas gifts. Once the customer has found everything on her list, she goes to the nearest register to pay for her items. Her groceries totaled $102.50, her pet food cost $21.60, the videogame she picked out for her nephew is $80.00, and finally she purchased two Wal Mart gift cards totaling $50.00. Even though the customer s total sale is $279.10, Wal Mart cannot recognize any of the revenue unless the transaction meets all of the criteria listed in IAS 18. IAS 18 is an accounting regulation that mandates how companies are to determine whether or not a transaction constitutes the recognition of revenue. Revenue regularly comes from the sale of goods or prepayment for services to be rendered, however, it can only be recognized if there is an economic benefit on behalf of the seller and the reliability of the revenue is provable. Wal Mart is in the business to sell goods to customers, so they can only recognize revenues from completed transactions that are reliable in nature (IAS 18 Revenue 2009). Our customer purchased $279.10 in groceries and merchandise, but Wal Mart is not able to recognize the full transaction as revenue. Advanced Microeconomics Question 1:Consumer Theory 1.1: In both the Marshallian and Hicksian consumer optimisation problems, it is assumed that consumers are supposed to be rational. The main focus of these problems are cost minimisation and utility maximisation, which play a huge part in consumer demand, but in real life, these are not the only problems that are considered. Also, it is assumed that every consumer s indifference curve for two goods would be the same they are very generalised models, and do not take into account other factors. For example, not many consumers would spend their entire budget on said goods one thing to consider would be a consumer s marginal propensity to consume and save. As the insurer doesn t know which agents are high risk or low risk, the company will not offer different types of full insurance to match risk types, as high risk agents will prefer contracts that are designed for low risk agents. To solve this, the insurer will offer low risk agents less insurance this ensures that high risk types do not have the incentive to choose a contract for low risk customers, as they will want more insurance, because they know they will need to claim more. This ensures that the insurance company maintains non negative profit, as high risk individuals cost more to insure. However, these solutions carry agency costs, because the result is less efficient than if symmetric information was present. I believe that risk neutrality of an insurance company is a sufficient condition for insurance to take place. Insurance companies are risk neutral to maximise expected profits, therefore as the principal, will design contracts to achieve this, as well as making certain that the agent picks the desired effort (i.e to prevent a bad state of the world) for that contract, and to make sure that the agent even picks the contract in the first place. Making sure incentives are compatible, and ensuring participation by the correct risk types, are constraints on maximising expected profits. At first, our proposed method generates 1 length tiemstamp swarm from the given database shown in the figure ref{example1}(b) that is called short time spatiotemporal swarms. It has been shown that the objects in location $L_3$ at timestamps $T_1$ and location $L_4$ at timestemps $T_1, T_3, T_5$ are removed because only one object exists in the locations which is less than the minimum number of objects $min_{object}$. This applies to independent contractors that serve as drivers for those companies. These drivers supply their own trucks and insurance, they only do a delivery service and make out the orders. The drivers are not responsible for the losses on bread not sold. They are given a percentage on bread sold. They file their own personal taxes and are not liable for any company assets or liabilities. Essay On Iroquois Thereare many Iroquoian nations, including the St. Lawrence Iroquoians, the Wenero Nation, and the Five Nations of the Huron Confederacy, but the term Iroquois only applies to the six nation confederacy of the Mohawk, Oneida, Onandaga, Cayuga, Seneca, and the Tuscarora, who were added to the league well after its formation in 1713. The Iroquois were settled across central New York with the Mohawks farthest East, closer to the coast, and the Seneca farthest west. The term Iroquois is based on a Basque term meaning killer people and while it is the commonly used academic term the Iroquois prefer to refer the themselves as the Haudenosaunee, meaning People of the Long House . At their peak, just prior to contact with Europeans, there were likely around 22,00 individuals in the Five Nations of the Iroquois.
