My Experience Of Attending Public School Education
I grew up in a diverse spectrum of economic affluence. Attending public school exposed me to a wide
range of economic lifestyles within my community. However, it wasn t until I was older that I began
to notice this. Due to my public school education, the friends that I had growing up came from various
backgrounds. My experience growing up with, learning with, and forming friendships with people
who have come from low income families and communities has given me the skills to effectively
teach low income communities. In high school, I was part of several organizations that revolved
around community service. Volunteering for organizations that benefit low income communities and
individuals has exposed me to the horrific conditions of poverty

Salsa Manzana
After signing in, men and women of all ages and ethnicities gathered in the Reeve Ballroom for the
annual event, Holidays Around the World, which was hosted by the Multicultural Education Coalition
of the University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh. Featuring the group Salsa Manzana and other performers,
this festival included multiple cultural presentations through song and dance. First, the UW Oshkosh
Taiko Performers presented their traditional ensemble. Taiko is written using the characters for fat and
drum and indicated the instruments used in the performance. Wearing traditional, unisexual clothing,
the Taiko performers chanted in Japanese while banging on the Taiko drums. With the help of the
moderator, the group gave a nearly seamless, synchronized performance with a constant release of
energy. Afterwards, Salsa Manzana performed various songs including Sunny Rain, Feliz Navidad,
and Jingle Salsa. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After dinner, presentations were given by the Student Organization of Latinos (SOL), Black Student
Union (BSU), Hmong Student Union (HSU) and the Asian Student Association (ASA). SOL
demonstrated the basics of celebrating a quinceanera, including the religious aspects and ritualistic
behaviors. To prepare for this coming of age party, the family dresses up, goes to church, takes
pictures and throws the actual party, where symbolic gifts and actions are reciprocated. Next, the BSU
danced to the Cha Cha Slide and the Cupid Shuffle, which were noted to be common along with
games in bringing people together at the BSU. The HSU and ASA collaborated on their presentation,
performing two graceful dances in traditional Hmong garments. After the amazing performances, the

Escapism In The Amazing Adventures Of Kavalier And Clay
Michael Chabon s recurring theme in The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier Clay is the notion of
escapism. Samuel Clay and Joe Kavalier both faced situations in their lifetime that initiated and
warranted means of escape, whether figuratively or literally. In fact, these events have shaped them
into the characters that they later develop into. Joe Kavalier, trained under a master Ausbrecher to
become an escape artist, develops the ability to prevail and escape from dangerous circumstances. In
addition to that, he escapes from reality of the Nazis s expansion and ubiquitous presence in Europe
by using his fictional comic character, the Escapist, to battle the Nazis on paper. Other forms of escape
that Joe Kavalier faced was escaping from death. One instance, was his escape from drowning during
his early days under the tutelage of Bernard Kornblum. Kavalier had requested his brother, Thomas, to
assist him by pushing him into the water while Joe of the River Moldau. Thomas and Joe essentially
escaped death by not drowning and living to talk about it. In addition, perhaps Joe s most life

his father, and taking care of the important women in his life his mother and grandmother. However,
Sammy s master accomplishment of escape is yet to be his escape from his own personal
homosexuality. His homosexuality is also an aspect and self identity that morphed into chains of

An Analysis Of The Bird Feeder Division At Mde Essay
An analysis of the Bird Feeder Division at MDE was requested due to the unanticipated budget
variances that have occurred. The following memo will provide a breakdown of the costs.
Drafts of Costs
It is important to first understand what the specific product and period costs are in order to accurately
compute the associated costs. It is known that bird feeders are being produced. In this case the product
costs are: cedar, plastic, and indirect materials, factory worker labor, depreciation, utilities, and
maintenance and repairs. For period costs they are as follows: shipping, sales commissions, office
rent, advertising, liability insurance, office depreciation, office salaries. Once this is known then the
variable cost per unit and contribution margin can be found.
The first calculation is to find the budgeted and actual sales price per unit which is done by a pre given
computation and divided by the known budgeted and actual units. For budgeted the sales price per unit
was $21.00, while the actual sales price per unit was $21.10. In order to find the variable cost per unit,
the variable costs must be broken down and the total and actual budgets utilized (Horngren, Datar,
Rajan, 2015, pp 68 73). The variable costs are cedar, plastic, and indirect materials, factory worker
labor, shipping, and sales commissions. In this case shipping and sales commissions are pre given so
the calculation must simply match. In order to find the sales price per unit, the pre given unit

The Power Of The Populist Party
The Populist Party formed when the Kansas Farmers Alliance joined with Knights of Labor to form a
People s Party. Populists wanted the people to have more power to end poverty and injustices. In
1892, the Populist Program was initiated where populists desired public ownership of the railroad and
telegraph systems, protection of land and natural resources, federal income tax on highest incomes,
and a looser monetary policy to favor borrowers. Populists also wanted to stop the government s
laissez faire attitude. In addition, they aimed for a secret ballot and direct election. Supporters of the
Populist Party were made up of farmers, labor groups, prohibitionist and women s suffrage advocates.
Progressivism came after the Populist movement.

Disadvantages Of Perfect Competition
Definition of market:
Market is a place or space where buyers and sellers meet to exchange product or services in a specific
period of time.
Definition of marketing structure:
Marketing structure is a group of factors that determined how buyers and sellers interact in market
(how the price change, how is the different levels of the production and selling process interact.)
The first definition in Perfect competition
The definition of the perfect competition is that there is an equal level for all firms involved in the
industry to produce the best possible outcomes for consumers. All the firms have the perfect
knowledge and information that they are free to sell the same product with different prices and no one
can stop them.
There are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
All the buyers can make the decisions from their own.
The advantages of perfect competition:
1) They can achieve the maximum consumer surplus and economic welfare.
2) All the perfect knowledge is available so there is no information failure.
3) Only normal cost profits cover the opportunity cost.
4) They allocate resources in the most efficient way.
The disadvantages of the perfect competition:
1) There is no chance to achieve the maximum profit because of the huge number of other firms that
are selling the same products.
2) There is no courage to develop new technology because of the perfect knowledge and the ability to
share all of the information.
3) Lack of productdifferentiation because all of the products are the same and they are not branded.
4) Reducing the research and development process.
Examples about the perfect competition:
Actually, there are no perfect market in the real world but there are some industries that might be close
to this perfect competition. For example, street food vending or farmers that will sell the fruits and
vegetable in the same price.
Monopoly

Essay Biography of Aaron Copland
Aaron Copland was born November 14th 1900 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the youngest of five
children to Sarah Mittenthal, his mother and Harris Copland, his father. He had two brothers, Ralph
and Leon and two sisters Laurine and Josephine. As early as the age of nine, he began making up
songs on the piano and two years later, his older sister Laurine began giving him piano lessons. In
1914, Copland began studying with his first professional piano teacher, Ludwig Wolfsohn in
Brooklyn, New York. His first public performance as a pianist was in 1917, one year before his
graduation from high school in Brooklyn. Upon it s grand opening in 1921, Copland attended the

Aaron Copland died on December 2nd 1990 in North Tarrytown, New York at the age of ninety.
Without question his most famous work is his Pulitzer Prize winning Appalachian Spring with which
he received the prestigious award in 1945. Commissioned by American dancer and choreographer
Martha Graham in 1943, Copland finished the work a year later while teaching at Harvard. The song
had a traditional American sound much like his previous works, Quiet City and Billy the Kid and won
immediate success with audiences when it debuted in Washington, D.C. on October 30, 1944. The
material of the piece is largely folk and even incorporates an old shaker song called Simple Gifts by
Elder Joseph Brackett written in 1848. One song, a patriotic piece called A Lincoln Portrait was
written at the beginning of World War II after Copland was commissioned to write a musical portrait
of an eminent American political figure. He quoted original folk songs of the time such as the well
known Camptown Races and also included material from letters and speeches Lincoln had given.
When looking at the characteristics of his work, Copland could most likely be described as an
experimentalist. He often enjoyed mixing various stylistic ideas of Jazz and Mexican dance rhythms
into his music and did not shy away from including these styles into his film scores and

Freud s Theory Of Human Sexuality
As we know, the practice of sexual behavior is perceived differently by diverse worldviews and
consists of a wide range of activities (Hyde DeLamater, 2014). There has been a number of debates on
whether or not the nature of human sexuality can be developed through genetics, imitated through
socialization, influenced by unconscious decisions or if it can be altered after childhood. There are a
variety of theories that have been created to help understand the uncertainty of how human sexuality is
developed. Uncovering the influence of neuroscience on sexuality and evaluating the appropriateness
of Sigmund Freud s Psychoanalytic Theory, Albert Bandura s Modeling Theory and Carl Roger s
Person Centered Theory on addressing Maria s sexual problems will be analyzed as well as their
contribution to our understanding of human sexuality.
Theory Identification
Sigmund Freud s psychoanalytic theory is one out of four major theories that have contributed to
relevancy of human sexuality. Freud coined the notion that irrational forces, unconscious motivations,
biological and instinctual drives that evolve over time are the cause for human behavior (Corey, 2013).
Freud believed that parent child interactions within childhood develops a person s unique character
type. In childhood pleasure is maximized to satisfy the demands of the id impulses, while the parent s
main focus is integrating the demands of reality and the concept of what is right and wrong. Human

Time and Chronology in Archeology
Time and Chronology in Archaeology
Why is it important for archaeologists to establish chronologies and what are the strengths and
weaknesses of absolute and relative dating methods in their establishment?
By Liam Cornish
In this essay will discuss what chronologies are and why they are extremely important to archaeology.
It will also discuss the different types of chronologies as well as the varying methods of establishing
them. Time can be determined in different ways, absolutely and relatively. There are strengths and
weaknesses to both of these ways of recording and measuring time and both tell archaeologists
different information about parts of the archaeological record. Both are also highly important to the
field archaeology.
A chronology is an ordering of events and items from the past which is based on time. In his journal
article on the seriation method Robert C. Dunnell defines chronology as: The stipulation of the
temporal dimension of a body of data (Dunnell 1970:305). This shows how chronologies are
intrinsically linked to time in archaeology. They are what allows archaeologists to study time and its
relation with various parts of the archaeological record. It also allows times effects on the past of
humanity to be observed and measured.
Chronologies are vitally important to the study of the archaeological record. Indeed Erin C. Dempsey,
in her journal article which deals with the construction of valid chronologies, said that Like time,
chronology is of

The connections of the circuit is shown above in the diagram. The connection shows that the entry exit
is linked to the 7 segment LED and thus using an arduino, we could make a simple system. The IR
sensors were digital and thus the connections are made to the digital side of the arduino mode. The 7
segment LED is connected to the digital inputs of the arduino beard. The servo motor is also
connected to the arduino board and the board was programmed so as to give the desired output. The
LED is fixed to number 9 in the beginning i.e. when no car is in the parking lot. Then as the car enters
the IR sensor detects the car, opens the barricade for the car and reduces the number on the LED to 8.
This continues till the number of the available parking lots are zero. Also when the car exits, the
number on the LED is increased by 1. When the number of available spaces is 0, then if a car tries to
enter, the door will not open.
VII. FURTHER IMPROVEMENTS
[pic]
In the further research, there are two more factors that should be added to make the system more
reliable. Firstly, IR sensors should be placed over every parking lot.

For his third song, he began playing before the piano joined him. Between him and the pianist, they

Measuring A Rural And An Urban Catchment
Introduction
Understanding a rivers response to the differences of a catchments characteristics demonstrates how
the processes that occur in the hydrological cycle operate differently, which influences discharge,
runoff and stream flow of a river (Davie, 2002). River response is the adjustment of processes during
rainfall events through infrastructure, the geomorphic and biological characteristics (Kang and
Kazama, 2013). A catchments characteristic influence the flow rates (build up) and discharge (wash
off) into a river system (Liu et al. 2013). A catchment, either rural or urban, is the area of land in
which water flows and is directed towards a river system, leading to the sea. Catchments can vary in

2004). At the completion of the first catchment simulation, the majority of the water in sponge was
removed, and 1000 millilitre tube topped up with water to have exactly 1000 millilitres. The repeat of
this simulation was to have a plastic A4 sheet placed on the sponge to represent an urban catchment,
and the same process was implemented. To keep the simulations fair and balanced, the roles in the
experiment have to be consistent, and the motion in which the water is deposited needs to be kept
nearly identical.
Results
The hydrograph that is produced (Figure 1) has data that represents both a rural catchment and an
urban catchment experiments. Both experiments had a steep rising limb which both had a peak flow
event of 1160 millilitres per minute, but the urban catchments peak flow occurred 0.25 minutes earlier
(0.75 minutes) than the rural catchments peak flow (1.00 minutes). From here, a sharp falling limb
occurs after the peak flows occurrence, with the urban catchments discharge dropping 520 millilitres
per minute, and rural catchments discharge drops 514 millilitres per minute. From 1.50 minutes both
catchments on the hydrograph have a steady decline, and plateau from 3 minutes until the completion
of the simulation.
The simulations conducted are only carried out on a much smaller scale and time frame compared to
an actual river system, and how it responds to a rainfall event due to time restraints. The Leith river is
subjected to a mainly urban

Taking a Look at Deforestation
Deforestation is the permanent destruction of forests in order to make the land available for other uses.
Half of the world s tropical forests have been cleared or degraded. Some people ask why forests are
being cleared. It is typically done to make more land available for other things like housing, cash
crops, oil, and cattle ranching. Most of what everyone does with deforestation is said to be illegal.
Common methods of deforestation are clear cutting and burning trees. The burning method can be
done either quickly or slowly. Quickly for plantation use or more slowly using the slash and burn
technique. The many reasons why farmers and other people do that is to get money to feed there
family or like it was stated early, to make room for growing crops or livestock. Forests are cut down
for many reasons, but most of them are related to people s need to provide for there families or money.
Logging operations, which provide the world s paper and wood products, also cut a number of trees
down each year. Loggers, some of them doing it illegally, also build roads to get to more and more
remote forests, which leads to further deforestation. Not all deforestation is a terrible thing and
intentional. Deforestation comes in handy when in need to build a new oil place. There are a lot of
natural factors that play into deforestation like wildfires and subsequent overgrazing. Most of the
deforestation occurs in the tropics, which is a terrible place because they have poor soil for

Long Point Fault Essay
Area of the Long Point Fault The Long Point Fault is located in Harris County, which covers 83,450
square miles located with in Houston, Teaxas City Limits. Research specifies that there are three

Bhopal Ethics
The Bhopal gas leak was a terrible tragedy in which thousands of helpless civilians were killed and
hundreds of thousands were injured as they slept. Determining who was at fault and, consequently,
who should compensate the victims and clean up the site are questions that have plagued the affected
parties, my Rotman classmates and the world at large for over 25 years. The analysis to follow, in
attempting to present the roles and responsibilities of each major player, will demonstrate the
incredible difficulty involved in assigning conclusive responsibility for the tragedy. This will be
followed by my personal reflections on the incident in which I present an additional culprit to those
discussed in class. Union Carbide Corporation (US): ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Secondly, the Government neglected the densely populated shanty town that had grown up near the
plant on land deeded from local officials. Its residents were the first and main victims of the poisonous
gas. Still, many will argue that a cost benefit analysis made creating jobs and accessible pesticide for a
poor and hungry region the proper priority. While many were ultimately harmed by the leak, how
many more had benefitted from the poverty alleviating jobs and hunger alleviating crops? Here again
we find valid points and counter points, leaving us no closer to assigning conclusive blame and
responsibility for the tragedy. Dow Chemical: While Dow certainly protected itself in the purchase
agreement from a legal standpoint, there are those that suggest the proper ethical action is for Dow to
assume responsibility for any outstanding clean up and compensation. While this may innately feel
like the right thing to do, the counterpoint that Dow had nothing to do with the incident and should not
be punished after paying fair market value for Union Carbide is also valid. Personal Reflection:
Analyzing the conduct of the major parties has not produced any conclusive allocation of
responsibility. It is clear that each party deserves significant blame but no party deserves total blame.
There is, however, an overlooked culprit that I believe deserves the bulk of the blame: the expectations
market that has hijacked the decision making of US corporations(1).

Cuban Politics And Its Effects On The United States
Alberto Korda took two photos on March 5, 1960. One of the still frames would immortalize one of

sinister Cuban regime. Che had major effects on the abuse of a society, Cuban politics, and the
justification of evil.
While still idolized by many, Che was far from a hero or a just man. Through the annals of history
there have always been false idols who have abused power. The individuals who lead these great

Arguments In 12 Angry Men
The Arguments of 12 Angry Men In the film 12 Angry Men (1957), directed by Sidney Lumet, is a
film about a group of 12 jurors on a murder case. As the beginning of the film begins, the men are
seen entering the deliberation room to come to a consensus on the case that was assigned. In the case,
a young juvenile is being tried for the murder of his own father. If he is found guilty, the boy will be
sent to the chair and will die by execution. If he is found not guilty then he will live. As the 12 jurors
all sit down to make a beginning vote (aiming to create a unanimous consensus), only one of the men
votes that the defendant is not guilty of the presented charges. Juror #8, the opposition to everyone,

The argument started out with juror #8 stating that he didn t know if the kid was guilty or not, he just
believed that there were a lot of holes in the case that would lead him to believe there is reasonable
doubt in the conviction. Though this seemed like a weak argument, there were many different key
points that were made to undermine the original argument. Jumping from one fact to the next, juror #8
eventually persuaded the entire group to change their vote to not guilty. Juror #8, when presenting the
various portions of his argument, always remains calm, as well as the other men who eventually join
his side. Juror #4, though on the original position, actually provides a lot of this logical approach. He
admits that the opposition makes sense and when the argument overrides his, he admits he is wrong
and changes his vote. This type of argument, when proven with ethos and pathos, is successful and
will gain logical support to win the overall

Ways For Nurses For A Family With Chronic Illness
The purpose of this paper is to present ways for nurses to consider when providing care for a family
with chronic illness. Touhy et al., (2012) defines chronic illness as an illness that last more than a year
and continuous medical treatment with limitation to activity of daily living. Chronic illness such as
stroke can present family and individual challenges throughout an individual s life span. Knowledge
about disease pathology and compliance to medical treatment while having family support are
essential for prevention of additional complications and comorbidities. Cancer, cardiovascular disease,
and diabetes are the most common chronic diseases in Canada. According to the (Canadian Nurses
Association [CNA]), each year 163, 000 Canadians die due to cardiovascular disease, cancer, lung
disease, and diabetes while cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death, disability, and
illness. Therefore, we will discuss the important ways that family nurses utilize their skills in health
promotion, and develop preventative management care plan that are appropriate for family situations.

Comparing The Characters Of Charles Portis Novel True Grit
A Journey in Courage: Characters of True Grit Very few people have unyielding courage in the face of
hardship or danger (Merriam Webster). Charles Portis uses this concept of grit to create interesting
characters that influence events his novel True Grit. Mattie Ross, LaBeouf, and Rooster Cogburn are a
few characters that display true courage through their actions and dialogue. Mattie s assertive and
stubborn personality contribute to her grit, which creates new challenges she overcomes. In the novel,
she discusses debatable ideas with other characters and appears convincing through her confidence
and certainty. Mattie s exchange with Stonehill well reveals her unyielding courage despite her
opponent s anger and persistence towards her. When the businessman declares Mattie impudent, she
replies I do not wish to be, sir, but I will not be pushed about when I am in the right (Portis 32). Mattie
s determination to sell her father s ponies brings her to Stonehill even though the businessman was
reluctant to pay. Her efforts and courage eventually convinces him to give in to her demands.

Hangover Research Papers
According to nurses and bartenders, the best way to cure hangover symptoms after a long night out of
drinking is with lots of fluids. [A hangover] is when you wake up after probably one of the best nights
of your life, but you feel like a bag of poop and recently got run over by a train, nursing student Laura
Gurke at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh said. For years many have tried to determine what exactly
constitutes a hangover, but there are theories that it is caused from dehydration to not eating enough
before drinking. Some of the major side effects when dealing with a hangover, besides regret, Gurke
adds, include: nausea, vomiting, headaches, thirst, and sensitivity to light and sound. Melissa Ische,

Alcoholic drinks will make you feel better in the moment, but then later on your hangover either
comes back just as bad or maybe even a little worse depending on how much you drank, Ische said. If
drinking alcohol doesn t seem like the best option after a long night out, nurse of 30 years Shari
Kuchan said water is the best liquid to cure that hangover. Most hangovers are a result of dehydration
so drinking lots of fluids is the best advice, Kuchan said. According to Kuchan, there are not many
tricks to getting rid of a hangover, which is why she sees so many people in the ER with severe
hangover symptoms. If they come to an ER we give them a banana bag which is an IV with vitamins
in it, Kuchan said. We will give them something for the nausea and advice not to do that again. Gurke,
who has tried to cure her hangover with water and failed, suggests having a bottle of Pedialyte ready
for the next morning. [Pedialyte] is the nectar of God that cures hangovers, Gurke said. It has the
necessary electrolytes to replenish the body after a long night

Descriptive Experience Of Plant Life
I had imagined the residents to be desperate due to the poverty they face and the small room sized
shacks they live in that resemble a poorly built shed and lack air conditioning, the thought of which
made me shudder as the intense heat of the did not expect much from the Dominican Republic but
from the minute I stepped into the heat and humidity I could tell that there was something different
about it from the thatched roof and marbled floor of the airport, the sparkling turquoise blue sea and
the pearly white sand lining the horizon, it seemed like a fairytale. Walking through the heat I could
smell the floral scent of the plant life that thrived as far as the eye could see this filled me with
nostalgia as I remembered back to my first holiday. I expected the non tourist areas to resemble heart
wrenching poverty and i thought that they would fill me with an overwhelming drowning sensation of
helplessness but it was actually the most beautiful, serene place I had ever seen. Lavish palm trees
lined the roads towering over everyone, vast amounts of brightly coloured plant life was blooming in
every colour of the rainbow as far as the eye could see and the snow white sand lined the turquoise
sea. Groups of people were laughing on pavements composed of dirt, in front of the amazing plant life
whose deep green leaves and luminous petals wsun bit into the top of my head. They all seemed so
happy, despite everything, which warmed my heart. Confusion and amazement ripped through

Winston Smith From Spongebob Squarepants
Intro Essay I am sure that everyone, at least once, has compared themselves to a character from their
favorite literary work or movie. Oftentimes parallels can be, and are drawn between the audience
members and the characters on the page or screen. Other times people contrast themselves to
characters, pointing out the stark differences between their real world lives and the high adventure
thrills of the life of the character in question. In this essay,I will compare myself to the personalities of
Winston Smith from 1984, putting focus on our shared inquisitive and skeptical nature, as well as that
of Spongebob Squarepants, with his cheerful disposition and sense of childlike wonder. And finally, I
will be comparing myself with Russell, the kid from UP. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As the book progresses we see Winston gradually growing more and more doubtful that his dystopian
environment is the way things should be. He is seen searching for the truth and is always weary about
what may lie ahead. Although I do not ask questions on the same grand scale as Winston, I do have a
naturally inquisitive, and somewhat skeptical nature. I find myself interested in the most abstract and
bizarre concepts, sometimes relating to the possibility of time travel through quantum particles, and
other times something as trivial as movie trivia. Despite my desire to learn new concepts and ideas, I
can often times lose interest in things I have trouble understanding. This is where I believe Winston
and I share some common ground. We are both incredibly curious and at the same time held back by
skepticism of the

The Duchess of Malfi was first performed in 1613 or 1614 by the King s Men, the acting company to
which Shakespeare belonged. The play was not printed until around ten years later in 1623, in quarto,
a smaller and less expensive edition than the larger folio size used for the first edition of Shakespeare s

1. People (Long Term)
Lack of relationship with the placed Executive Assistants who are working for Small business and

Collaborative planning and working is missing between Great People Inc and their clients.
2. Process (Short Long Term)
The process in place is completely outdated and more of traditional approach which doesn t work in

Lack of process knowledge and there is no SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) in place, which
would have a major impact in the revenue.

Great People Inc has provided more resources for any particular company onsite HR Manager would
add more weightage while finding the right fit for their clients. This would establish themselves to
have a long term relationship with their customers and clients. It would act as CPFR. Since GPI has
one dedicated employee working onsite for their client, it would help them to build collaborative
planning and better understand the business needs of their clients.
Example: Projectline is a recruiting firm based in Seattle, they do the same and has been successful to
establish themselves in the market. One of their preferred client is Microsoft, and Projectline has 1
manager who works on Microsoft site and completely dedicated to their business.
With help of MS office, it would be easy to generate reports. As mentioned on the Exhibit 2 2.1, the
parameter would play a vital role in evaluating the performance. GPI should review and update the
templates regularly depending upon the business needs of the client.
SOLUTION
As a Decision maker and SC Leader, I would highly recommend CFPR program to revamp their entire
process with the help of Microsoft Dynamics.
To add and strengthen the PPT (People, Process and Technology) it is wise to use CRM Tool. I would
also recommend Microsoft Dynamics to be implemented.

Who Is Truly Evil In Lord Of The Flies
For centuries, philosophers have debated the question of whether man is truly evil. William Golding
strikes this question in his highly realistic novel, Lord of The Flies. The story is set in a tropical island
during World War 2 when a plane is shot down holding British schoolboys. No adults survive and they
are left to govern themselves until they are rescued. Through Jack, Golding demonstrates what will
happen to man when law and order are taken away, and that ultimately man will choose safe gray over
civility. In the beginning, Jack shows up as head boy of the choir. Jack thinks he should lead the boys
on the island because he already leads his choir. I ought to be chief, because I m chapter chorister and
head boy, (Golding 22). This is the first time we see Jack s wanting of power. Jack has led before and
sees how much power and strength comes with it. This makes him want more, rather than having a
civil vote, and choose who the leader should be. He becomes power hungry and always wants more.
This, Golding proves that man will choose savagery over order and decorum. ... Show more content

One thing he gave up was peace. When the hunters let the fire out, Piggy scolds them. Jack gets fed up
and results to violence. He took a step, and able at last to hit someone, stuck his fist right into Piggy s
stomach, (Golding 71). This is the start of the break between Ralph s group and Jack s group. Since
Jack is so power hungry, he does not like it when people try to put him in his place. When they do try
to bring Jack down to his place, Jack automatically responds with violence. In this way, Golding
proves that Jack had to give up things to feed his need for

Running Argumentative Analysis
When people talk about exercise, there is one main workout that most people have done in their life.
That exercise is running. For some, running isn t just a way to go out and get healthy, running can be a
way for people to escape the stressful lives they live in and go out and explore the world on the
endless trail running has to offer. While most people think this, some have a different opinion on the
topic. Some feel as though running is not healthy for you at all in the long run, and that it can cause
some serious health effects to your body in the long run. However, after getting the facts from both
sides of the argument, anyone will agree that running will benefit your health in the long run
physically and mentally. For those who enjoy running, they say that there is a lot of evidence to

improve the chance of you living longer in life. For many this would be a situation where you wouldn

your life. Some people have one goal in life, and that is to live as long as possible however that may

Pros And Cons Of Single Sex Schools
Single sex schools are common within the fait schools and some schools who believe there association
within their faith would work out better within a diverse atmosphere. Some believe that having single
sex schools is a good idea because then boys would feel more concentrated with their school work
instead of trying to impress or compete for the girls. Parents also believe that boys would participate
more and be focus with their education if girls were not in the same class as them. As a result, single
sex schools should be banned to give children the opportunity to gain a better education and
interacting with the opposite sex. Teaching boys and girls in separate classrooms it s an old approach
in which has recently gained momentum. The reason being is some debate on the fact that it reduces
boys and girls opportunities to work together, and reinforces sex stereotypes while others believe that
single sex schooling results in better academic outcomes. Although there has been multiple case
studies to find some common ground or to see which one is more beneficial or affective the results
fluctuates.
According to Dr. Michael Gurian, Leonardo Sax and others believed that boys and girls should be
taught differently and be parted from the same sex when gaining their education. Do to their research
and the books they have published many schools have in fact already started separating the children in
the classrooms. Dr.Sax, one of the believers was in fact the Executive director of the National
Association of Single Sex Public Education. He was criticize for his judgment of boys precipitating
information effortlessly, having more energy than the girls in a classroom while the girls are in need of
a special touch and being unable to retain information as thoroughly as the boys. In the mid 1900 s
there was only 2 Single sex public school, today there are more than 500 public schools in which are
scattered all over 40 states whom offer single sex academic classes or even entirely single sex classes
Dr. Halpern thought otherwise, she once said that while girls are better readers and get better grades,
boys are more likely to have more complications and end up having reading disabilities, but it does
not mean that

Cosmetics And Its Impact On The Makeup Industry
Purchasing the most expensive and popular cosmetic brand might seem as the best option to protect
oneself from imperfections but, is the product s price determined by popularity or safety regulations?
Cosmetics have transformed the industries to make themselves an essential part of consumer s daily
routine. Cosmetics were first used by tribes as a form of camouflage to disguise themselves from
enemies and predators. Mud, ashes and natural dyes, were used to hide themselves from predators and
to create a sense of fear in the pray (Goering). During the Renaissance period, cosmetics lost its
demand as a protection tool and innovating in the makeup industry. Women began making their own
instructions on how to produce products based on households items such as oatmeals, charcoal and
berries. Soon they adapted a system that allowed them to make more of the same products and then
create profits by selling them as a package product (Goering). Currently in the Twenty First Century
beauty products are considered essential in women s life as a key to their physical transformation.
From morning makeup routine to late time dinners, women tend to use on average at least ten to
fifteen products a day (Averett). Cosmetics have expanded from raw materials used for camouflage to
a crucial necessity to in order achieve an emotional realization through the physical appearance.

At this stage, travelers are more interested with the new environment, the curiosity of a new language
or dialect, a new society, and a new kind of food. At this point, everything about this new place seems
awesome.
For example, when I first come to America, I find that American people are very nice, whenever I
need help they would try their best to help me. I lived with my host family, they would take me to

They would cook very nice food for me (a lot cheese, which I really like), and my host family are very

The Role Of Lawyers And Interest Of The Judicial Process

The role of lawyers and interest groups in the judicial process
A judicial process involves a series of rules undertaken to administer justice through a system of
courts defined in a given constitutional law. The lawyers and the interest groups are important actors
in any judicial process, (The U.S. Department of State publication, 2008). In the United States, a
plaintiff or a defendant has a constitutional right to a fair hearing before judgement. The litigants
would always need the lawyers to build their defence or prosecutions cases before the judge or jury.
The interest groups are known for influencing the judicial process. In the United States, the interest
groups have such as influenced the judges appointment, just as a single form of influence. This paper
describes in details the roles of the lawyers and interest groups in the judicial process. In addition to
the roles, the paper seeks to explain the reasons behind unpopularity of lawyers in the United States
since colonial years to present day; the impact of stratification in the legal profession on delivery and
quality of legal services provision and how an impartial and unbiased system can allow interest groups
to take part in the judicial process.
The lawyer represents the clients in their cases in a court of law. The client could be from the general
society or government. A judgment by the judge or the jury is purely dependent on the

The Giver Word Analysis
In the Giver the community has many weirdly spoken words. These words can mean many things, but
to the community these words are nothing out of the ordinary. Everyone there is used to hearing these

My Experience At The Teton Valley Ranch Camp Essay
When I was taking a photo of the purple sky and two stretching lakes across the Bonney Pass in the
Teton Mountains; I knew this place that I loved had transformed me into a better person and a more
confident woman.
When I submitted the lengthy application to the Teton Valley Ranch Camp in Dubois, Wyoming my
mind kept sinking back to the fear of flying away to my comfortable close knit home to work at a
ranch camp 2,610 miles away. My mom persisted that I should do something different with my
summer. After being a camper at the Teton Valley Ranch Camp, I thought it would be nice to

did not want to leave the summer before college started. I wanted to stay in the same routine with my

For budgeted the sales price per unit was $21.00, while the actual sales price per unit was $21.10. In order to find the variable cost per unit, the variable costs must be broken down and the total and actual budgets utilized (Horngren, Datar, Rajan, 2015, pp 68 73). The variable costs are cedar, plastic, and indirect materials, factory worker labor, shipping, and sales commissions. Freud coined the notion that irrational forces, unconscious motivations, biological and instinctual drives that evolve over time are the cause for human behavior (Corey, 2013). Freud believed that parent child interactions within childhood develops a person s unique character type. In childhood pleasure is maximized to satisfy the demands of the id impulses, while the parent s main focus is integrating the demands of reality and the concept of what is right and wrong. • 13. Time and Chronology in Archeology Time and Chronology in Archaeology Why is it important for archaeologists to establish chronologies and what are the strengths and weaknesses of absolute and relative dating methods in their establishment? By Liam Cornish In this essay will discuss what chronologies are and why they are extremely important to archaeology. It will also discuss the different types of chronologies as well as the varying methods of establishing them. Time can be determined in different ways, absolutely and relatively. There are strengths and weaknesses to both of these ways of recording and measuring time and both tell archaeologists different information about parts of the archaeological record. Both are also highly important to the field archaeology. A chronology is an ordering of events and items from the past which is based on time. In his journal article on the seriation method Robert C. Dunnell defines chronology as: The stipulation of the temporal dimension of a body of data (Dunnell 1970:305). This shows how chronologies are intrinsically linked to time in archaeology. They are what allows archaeologists to study time and its relation with various parts of the archaeological record. It also allows times effects on the past of humanity to be observed and measured. Chronologies are vitally important to the study of the archaeological record. Indeed Erin C. Dempsey, in her journal article which deals with the construction of valid chronologies, said that Like time, chronology is of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It is just 7 LEDs that have been combined into one case to make a convenient device for the displaying numbers and some V. Hardware [pic] The connections of the circuit is shown above in the diagram. The connection shows that the entry exit is linked to the 7 segment LED and thus using an arduino, we could make a simple system. The IR sensors were digital and thus the connections are made to the digital side of the arduino mode. The 7 segment LED is connected to the digital inputs of the arduino beard. The servo motor is also connected to the arduino board and the board was programmed so as to give the desired output. The LED is fixed to number 9 in the beginning i.e. when no car is in the parking lot. Then as the car enters the IR sensor detects the car, opens the barricade for the car and reduces the number on the LED to 8. This continues till the number of the available parking lots are zero. Also when the car exits, the number on the LED is increased by 1. When the number of available spaces is 0, then if a car tries to enter, the door will not open. VII. FURTHER IMPROVEMENTS [pic] In the further research, there are two more factors that should be added to make the system more reliable. Firstly, IR sensors should be placed over every parking lot. ... • 16. Measuring A Rural And An Urban Catchment Introduction Understanding a rivers response to the differences of a catchments characteristics demonstrates how the processes that occur in the hydrological cycle operate differently, which influences discharge, runoff and stream flow of a river (Davie, 2002). River response is the adjustment of processes during rainfall events through infrastructure, the geomorphic and biological characteristics (Kang and Kazama, 2013). A catchments characteristic influence the flow rates (build up) and discharge (wash off) into a river system (Liu et al. 2013). At the completion of the first catchment simulation, the majority of the water in sponge was removed, and 1000 millilitre tube topped up with water to have exactly 1000 millilitres. The repeat of this simulation was to have a plastic A4 sheet placed on the sponge to represent an urban catchment, and the same process was implemented. To keep the simulations fair and balanced, the roles in the experiment have to be consistent, and the motion in which the water is deposited needs to be kept nearly identical. Results The hydrograph that is produced (Figure 1) has data that represents both a rural catchment and an urban catchment experiments. Both experiments had a steep rising limb which both had a peak flow event of 1160 millilitres per minute, but the urban catchments peak flow occurred 0.25 minutes earlier (0.75 minutes) than the rural catchments peak flow (1.00 minutes). From here, a sharp falling limb occurs after the peak flows occurrence, with the urban catchments discharge dropping 520 millilitres per minute, and rural catchments discharge drops 514 millilitres per minute. From 1.50 minutes both catchments on the hydrograph have a steady decline, and plateau from 3 minutes until the completion of the simulation. The simulations conducted are only carried out on a much smaller scale and time frame compared to an actual river system, and how it responds to a rainfall event due to time restraints. • 17. Taking a Look at Deforestation Deforestation is the permanent destruction of forests in order to make the land available for other uses. Half of the world s tropical forests have been cleared or degraded. Some people ask why forests are being cleared. It is typically done to make more land available for other things like housing, cash crops, oil, and cattle ranching. Most of what everyone does with deforestation is said to be illegal. Common methods of deforestation are clear cutting and burning trees. The burning method can be done either quickly or slowly. Quickly for plantation use or more slowly using the slash and burn technique. The many reasons why farmers and other people do that is to get money to feed there family or like it was stated early, to make room for growing crops or livestock. Forests are cut down for many reasons, but most of them are related to people s need to provide for there families or money. Logging operations, which provide the world s paper and wood products, also cut a number of trees down each year. Loggers, some of them doing it illegally, also build roads to get to more and more remote forests, which leads to further deforestation. Not all deforestation is a terrible thing and intentional. William Golding strikes this question in his highly realistic novel, Lord of The Flies. The story is set in a tropical island during World War 2 when a plane is shot down holding British schoolboys. No adults survive and they are left to govern themselves until they are rescued. Through Jack, Golding demonstrates what will happen to man when law and order are taken away, and that ultimately man will choose safe gray over civility. In the beginning, Jack shows up as head boy of the choir. Jack thinks he should lead the boys on the island because he already leads his choir. I ought to be chief, because I m chapter chorister and head boy, (Golding 22). This is the first time we see Jack s wanting of power. Jack has led before and sees how much power and strength comes with it. This makes him want more, rather than having a civil vote, and choose who the leader should be.
