Recently, in a telephone conversation with the current owner of Valley Motors, Greg
Voeltz, on February 7, 2008, he contends Valley Motors current location is
surrounded by affluent communities like Old Cherry Hills, Cherry Hills Village,
Columbine Country Club, Greenwood Village, The Preserve and Polo Reserve to
name a few. He explains that Valley Motors is the only independent Mercedes Benz
dealership in the south metro area. To move further south, with an emphasis

residents as the place to go for high end automobiles in the south metro area,

The Media Education Foundation (n.d.) documentary Class Dismissed discusses
the representations of America s working class from the early days of television to
the sitcoms of present day. The idealized middle class or the American dream was
and is depicted in ways that have molded the public perception of social class. The
film identified class intersections with gender, race and sexuality and the portrayal of
these roles through popular iconic characters and shows on TV throughout its history.

increasing product sales by influencing viewers to make purchases that enable them
to identify with being part of the desirable Middle class American Dream .
As the television evolved and reached more and more people. TV producers
disregarded the fact that Television s representations of people, class and their
intersections would impact the thinking of the viewers, it was considered merely
entertainment. The majority of TV Shows are commercially financed with
advertisers only concerned with pushing their goods and services. Each decade

Coming from poor white trash herself, Roseann wanted to represent women from her
subculture authentically. The Roseann show has just been resuscitated for a new
season in the spring of 2018 after a twenty one year long hiatus, it should be an
