 Wire drawing is metel working process used to reduce
The cross section area of wire by pulling wire
through dices.
 First of all wire is get fitted through the die then It is pulled
through the die As the wire is pulled through the die its volume
remains the same, so as the diameter decreases, the length
increases.

lines for the wire and cable industry.
 Company Manufacturing Machines are Follows :
1. Tandem Rod Breakdown machines – M85, M80, and MM80.
2. Wire Annealer- RM401, RM501, VG35, VG10.
3. Dancer machine.
4. Single and Double Spooler Machines.
5. Tangential way-out machine.
6. Buncher machine (wire twisting and bobbing).
7. Automatic down coiler.

Importance Of wire Drawing Machine
 In industrial applications, plastics are extruded to produce food
packaging film,cladding sheets, insulation, automotive parts, and
tubing products such as electrical conduit.
 The food and pharmaceutical industries also make extensive use
of extrusions in the production of products such as pasta,
cereals,cookies,and several drug carriers.
 Steel and alloys are extruded to form rods, pipes, and wires as
well as steel conduits and construction members for light
engineering.

POLICY OF THE COMPANY:
PROCESS OF MANUFACTURING
 Sales : All incoming inquiries are checked with regard to
technical and commercial aspects and it is decided whether an
offer can be made.
Engineering: Upon receipt of order and information from sales, engineering
department reviews the requirements. Bill of material (BOM)
 Production planning: After creation of sales order in SAP by sales department, BOM
and routing by engineering department, planned order is
created in SAP.
 Purchasing: Purchasing department makes sure that the component for
assembly is ready at any time. the component is found as
rejected, it is either sent for re-machining.
 Inspection: All the manufacturing parts are inspected against the
specifications by trained engineers.
Inventory management:Bought out items and manufacturing items are stored . The
parts received from the stores are taken to the assembly as
per the planning.
 Pretreatement: It is a process in which the surface of the component to be painted
is cleaned and freed from Impurities.
Shot Blasting: It is the method used to clean, strengthen (peen) or polish metal.
Assembly Department:
After inspection, the components are segregated into two
Categorie.Painting parts,Non- painting parts.
MACHINES USED IN ASSEMBLY
1. Surface Grinding machine:
Surface grinding machine is used to produce a smooth
finish on flat surfaces. It is widely used abrasive
machining machine In which grinding wheels
cuts chips of metallic substance
2. Lathe machine:This machine is used for
removingthe material from a rotating work
piece such as toolbits and drill bits.
3. Induction heater (bearing):To avoid any damage
to the shaft surface, heating equipment
like induction heater is used.
4.Pneumatic bolt tightening :
It is pneumatically operated
machineused in firm tightening of bolts.
5.Machine elements:
These form as an elementary components of a machine
Fasteners:
1.Allen screws:
A screw with a hexagonal hole in the head and with
a tapered threaded shank. Allen key is used in tightening
and loosening of these screws.
2.Hex screw:
Bolts with six sided heads are typically known
as hex screws.There are two types;
Tap bolts: A full threaded bolt with a six sided head.
 Metric hex bolts:
Bolts with machine threads for use with a nut
or a washer or any tapped hole. Also known as
hexa cap screws or machine bolts.
Washers:
It is disk shaped thin plate with a hole that is
normally used to distribute the load of a threaded
fastener.
Spur gear:
These straight cut gears are the simplest type of gears.
they can be meshed together correctly only
if they are fitted to parallel shafts.
 Helical gears:
These gears offer refinement overspur gears. They can be meshed in
parallel or crossed orientations.
Gear trainsA gear train is formed by
mounting gears on a frame so that the
teeth of the gears engage.
 The teeth on helical gears are cut
atan angle to the face of the gear.
They are designed to ensure the pitch
circles of engaging gears rolls on each

  • 13.  Sales : All incoming inquiries are checked with regard to technical and commercial aspects and it is decided whether an offer can be made. Engineering: Upon receipt of order and information from sales, engineering department reviews the requirements. Bill of material (BOM)  Production planning: After creation of sales order in SAP by sales department, BOM and routing by engineering department, planned order is created in SAP.  Purchasing: Purchasing department makes sure that the component for assembly is ready at any time. the component is found as rejected, it is either sent for re-machining.  Inspection: All the manufacturing parts are inspected against the specifications by trained engineers. Inventory management:Bought out items and manufacturing items are stored . The parts received from the stores are taken to the assembly as per the planning.
  • 14.  Pretreatement: It is a process in which the surface of the component to be painted is cleaned and freed from Impurities. Shot Blasting: It is the method used to clean, strengthen (peen) or polish metal.

  • 16. MACHINES USED IN ASSEMBLY 1. Surface Grinding machine: Surface grinding machine is used to produce a smooth finish on flat surfaces. Lathe machine:This machine is used for removingthe material from a rotating work piece such as toolbits and drill bits. 3. Allen key is used in tightening and loosening of these screws. 2.Hex screw: Bolts with six sided heads are typically known as hex screws.There are two types; Tap bolts: A full threaded bolt with a six sided head.

Spur gear: These straight cut gears are the simplest type of gears. they can be meshed together correctly only if they are fitted to parallel shafts.

They can be meshed in parallel or crossed orientations. Gear trainsA gear train is formed by mounting gears on a frame so that the teeth of the gears engage.  The teeth on helical gears are cut atan angle to the face of the gear. They are designed to ensure the pitch circles of engaging gears rolls on each other without slipping
