This document discusses Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences. It proposes that intelligence is not a single, innate ability but rather consists of at least eight distinct intelligences: linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalist. Each intelligence represents a different area of the brain that can be developed independently through exposure to environments that support their growth.

2. Since 1993, Dr. Howard Gardner, director
of Project Zero and Professor of
psychology and Sciences of education at
Harvard University, has proposed his
theory of multiple intelligences. Through
this theory Dr Gardner came to the
conclusion that intelligence is not
something innate and fixed that
dominates all the skills and abilities of
problem solving that possesses the human
being, has established that the intelligence
is located in different areas of the brain,
interconnected among themselves and
which can also work individually taking
ownership of widely develop if they find
an environment that provides the
necessary conditions for this purpose.

3. They are eight intelligences
1. Linguistics - verbal
is the ability to effectively employ the words, manipulating the
structure or syntax of the language, Phonetics, semantics, and its
practical dimensions.

4. 2. Physics-kinesthetic
is the ability to use one's body to
express ideas and feelings, and their
peculiarities of coordination, balance,
dexterity, strength, flexibility and
speed, as well as proprioceptive and
tactile.

5. 3. logic-math
is the ability to handle numbers, relationships and logical patterns in
an efficient manner, as well as other functions and abstractions of
this type.

the ability to see with
certainty the image
visual and spatial,
graphically represent
ideas, and raise
awareness of color,
line, shape, figure,
space and their
interrelationships.

is the ability to perceive, distinguish, transform and express
the rhythm, timbre and tone of musical sounds

is the ability to distinguish
perceiving emotional
States and interpersonal
signs of others, and to
respond effectively to such
actions in a practical way.

is the ability to distinguish,
classify and use elements of the
environment, objects, animals or
plants. Both the urban as
suburban or rural atmosphere. It
includes the skills of observation,
experimentation, reflection and
questioning of our environment.
