PDHPE promotes a healthy and active lifestyle by teaching students about physical activity and its benefits for personal development, social well-being, mental well-being, and overall health. It recommends 60 minutes of daily physical activity like swimming, running, or soccer to maintain health. Regular physical activity reduces risks of diseases like heart disease and promotes bone and mental health.
