2. Childhood Music
When I was younger my favourite bands were
Busted and S-Club 7. I liked all of their songs and
had most of their albums. The first concert I ever
went to was S-Club and S-Club Juniors with my
cousin, we used to know all the words and the
dance moves!
Busted and Mcfly was also a favourite I liked all
the songs and used to watch anything that was
about them, like the film, Just My Luck, that Mcfly
appeared in. Also S-Club had a film , Seeing
Double, that I must of watched a hundred times.
Like Outcast’s song ‘Hey Ya’ due to the catchy
tune and lyrics .
I enjoyed most songs as a child and most of the
bands had girls in and I must of looked up to
them as idols. Sometimes I will listen to these
songs now and reminisce about my childhood.
Mainly all of these songs come under the genre
of pop that mainly dominated the 90s/00s.
3. Music From My
Early Teens
JoJo- Leave
Will Smith- Switch
The Killers- Mr
Brightside
All of the songs I listened to are
memorable due to how popular
they were at the time, most songs
were played on the TV, Radio
and on films.
I liked all these songs probably
because all my friends listened to
the same thing and we all thought
we was grown up listening to less
childish music, I also started
listening to different genres, with
artist like The Killers and Will
Smith.
4. Music videos from
Recently
George Ezra-
Budapest
Milky Chance- Down
by the River
Arctic Monkeys- Do I
Wanna Know
All these songs are memorable to me all for
different reasons, the artist, catchy lyrics and all
the songs have a good beat and are easy to
listen to. As before most of my friends listen to
the same music. I like to listen to different
genres of music, for example, classic motown
and soul music like The Four Tops and Stevie
Wonder and old rock music like Oasis and Foo
Fighters.
All these songs link either in genre and the beat
and rhythm are similar. I think my taste in
music will keep changing in the future as I like
to listen to different things all the time.
