“Oh GOSH! Reflecting on Hackteria's Collaborative Practices in a Global Do-It...
Mumford and Sons Representation
1. Mumford and sons representation:
Mumford and sons are represented in many ways throughout their time in the
spotlight. In the music videos they are shown to be a live band which can sing
without sound adjustments and make all the music themselves.
This is from there I will wait video. It shows they are live on stage and have
10000’s of people watching them and they are a very powerful band. It also
shows the instruments and is clearly showing they are doing these themselves;
there are no adjustments or music playing above.
Throughout the videos they are shown to be powerful but also like good
friends as they are shown to be like best friends or even brothers. They are not
seen as thugs or criminals (rap sometimes may do this) and the bands videos
show that they are good role models and are well behaved men who are great
signers and together make a successful band!
Live, lots of people watching,
powerful feel
Instruments shown, make us see
they are performing live
2. The tabloids are well known for showing another side to groups or singers but
the daily mail talks about the band in a good way. Apart from talking about
their relationships and private life, they have good things said about them and
praised throughout.
The screen shots show the latest articles on the group and there is nothing
surprising said about them and they are seen as the record producers want
them to be seen as. The group does not have any articles about them doing
stupid things or being nasty and this is a good thing to the group.
Normal problems being displayed,
nothing different to normal life
Show they are keen to keep playing,
making them look good
Praising them and making them look
good and helping the music industry
3. The group display themselves as a folk rock and the tabloids agree with this
and also the band show themselves as normal people, and as some of these
articles show, they are just normal and they are seen like this by all.
